Run from this place - very nice people but Tony is just running a business to get any many ppl in but no experienced people except for Ashley. All the women try to talk and figure out how to do even to get some of the colors and the guy. It feels like the customers are the guinea pigs for their learning while getting charged.

I have been going here even before Tony took over. I still continued because he and ladies or nice. But except Ashley rest are all learning and trying to figure out. What made me upset I finally come here and put a review is mistakes happen but not 4 times in a row. And the worst part they asked me to come back to fix and charged me full price ridiculous. There are ton of places around and better service if I were you would look somewhere else. Just wasted hundreds of $ at this place.

The service was good at first. I mentioned i wanted my nails cut but she ended up overcutting to my skin. I mentioned i wanted square toes on my pedicure and mentioned if she could do acrylic tips so I could get my desired shape. She completely disregarded what i told her and proceeded to paint and file my toes down even more. Once again i mentioned i wanted tips on them and told her id pay extra. I just wanted my toes shaped how i wanted. Im paying for what i want and they completely shut me down and told me I didn’t need it. I asked if they could do that at the salon and she reiterated herself. Im not one to write reviews but i feel as if this place does not offer what the customer wants.

I'm new to the area and was looking for a nail salon that I could go to on a regular basis. I had a fill with Gel Polish.It was the worst job i've ever had! It wasn't even taken down to the cuticle. There's a gap and it looks grown out already like it's not freshly done, a complete rip off!
A waste of money and I have to have it redone for the holidays. Super disappointing I won't be going back!

Kathy did my mani/pedi. She was amazing. She did red nails for me, which have to be so precise to look beautiful and she knocked it out of the park. I will back to see Kathy, every time we are back in Dana Point.

I can always walk right in and get superior, non pushy service. The price is exceptionally reasonable. I’ve found my nail salon!

Ashley was amazing!! She took the time to do my nails perfectly. I did dip powder. The place was packed as well, so they must be doing something right. They kept getting calls for appointments and had many walk ins. Very accommodating. Will definitely be back to do my nails here!!

Thanks to the great reviews- we found a nail salon that was clean and excellent. It is in a very nice area in a plaza and the ladies were sooooo nice. They offered us water and my acrylic nails were done meticuoulsly. I also want to say I have never had such a long foot massage and they even did my hands and arms- this is worth mentioning as most places do it for 10 seconds but she must have massaged me for 20 minutes! I wish I could say I was exaggerating! I would absolutely come back there again and the price was very reasonable too. Thank you.

At Moon Nails I always have a wonderful experience getting my manicure/pedicure here. Tony is truly a master at his craft and gives the best dip/manicure that lasts for weeks! Kim gives the most detailed pedicures and she is never in a rush. Tony and his staff actually care about how you feel and the job they do. I highly recommend them!

Friendly Staff & Quality Service
Cleanliness: Always clean. I have been here at/after closing and all the staff participated in cleaning the shop from top to bottom…front to back. It reassures me to know that they take such pride in keeping the shop clean!!
