I walked into the New Balance store expecting to be sold a pair of shoes, but instead I was greeted with a Foot Revelation. For about an hour, Jasmine helped answer all of my questions and point me in the right direction for healthy, well-fitting shoes.
I had suspected that the shoes I was wearing did not fit, and Jasmine walked me through exactly why that was the case and how to know for next time.
I had never seen a foot scanner at any shoe retailer before, but I am so glad that I walked into one that not only had the technology to provide such helpful information, but also had such wonderful staff to help explain that information.
I am not exaggerating when I say that my understanding of foot health has been radically changed (and more importantly, improved).

Let me start by telling you all about an online order that I received, the box was destroyed so bad that the invoice was shredded and the shoes looked dirty. I contacted the Encinitas store and spoke with an Angel named Jasmyne, and she told me to come into the store and she can do a return but unfortunately my Christmas gift for my wife might not come in on time for Christmas. Long story short, Jasmyne went above and beyond to make my Christmas a very Merry Christmas! My package was delivered in time 🎅

I keep coming back to this store for its excellent customer service. Not only do they seem to have every model in stock in every color produced, the positive and supportive service from all staff is unparalleled.
Most recent case in point.... A pair of shoes i purchased in July, but didn't really start wearing until August developed a major squeak. Dahlia, the mansger offered to exchange the shoes or select another pair, and pay any difference. Great service!!!
I recommend this company and the staff at this location. I'll be back for sure!!!

Small & well organized store with a good selection of shoes. As we entered despite being busy, we were promptly greeted. Intending to just window shop, the amount of information & service truly sold us. Kudos to sales associate, Dahlia who was passionate & service oriented that it really made an impact on us. She gave her honest opinion without the pressure to buy, when my daughter was assessed by the 3D scanner. (Note: Not all stores carry The 3D scanner & appts. may be necessary). What was so beneficial was “This state of the art device uses cutting edge technology to precisely measure,analyze the dimensions of your feet, providing invaluable insights into the ideal shoe size & fit.”Robots.net
In the end, we bought a pair of 574 Core($89.99) with an added arch support Ultra Cushion C ($69.99). Although, it was recommended to go for a better shoe vs a lifestyle shoe, Dahlia never pushed her expert advice, she really respected my daughter’s choice & even gave her reassuring words to help her make a decision.
I would absolutely visit Encinitas just to see Dahlia & know that I would be well taken care of as a customer.

I got a pair of 574+ yesterday here and the gentleman that helped me was very courteous and welcoming. It made my shopping experience and my day better, I recommend this location for their good customer service.

Dahlia and Daniel were amazing! They were patient, understanding, and wrote down a bunch of ideas on how I can help plantar fasciitis (PF). In an age where other stores make you feel like they’re doing you a favor by acknowledging your presence, it was so refreshing to go to somewhere on a tough day and be treated like you matter and people care more about you than sales. I walked away with two pairs and plan on going back when my PF gets better for those cute vintage shoes! Can’t wait!

Ryan H was terrific! It's so rare these days to find employees who are knowledgeable and passionate about the store's products. Ryan is both. He was a great listener, answered of my questions very well, and worked with me in a non-pushy way to find the two shoes that I am very happy with.
Ryan C was also a very intuitive helper, updating me on what to expect with my returns and closing the loop.
It's been a long time since I've had such great in-store help. I live on the other side of town, but I will make the drive to get their help with my next NB purchase!

The selection wasn't that good. I went in because a woman was wearing a pair of NB I loved. They didn't carry it anymore, and the guy made me feel like I was talking about a pair that were ancient, and it was only a few months. C/S is really important to me. There were 2 employees, and they were chatting, and I felt like I was a nuisance. So I left. I'll order online. I found the ones I loved.

I called this store at 5:04 to validate the store hours for the holiday. The gal that picked up said they would close at 5:30 due to the holiday. So my family made the trek to the store and I got there and the doors were locked at 5:10 since we were in the area. Just don't pick up and say you are open or going to be open and we show up and are closed.
