I had same experience as another reviewer. Chuck was fantastic and really prepared me for my surgery. Bought two chairs and a bed. Unfortunately one of the chairs broke within a short while and they attempted with two faulty parts to fix. Owner then without much kindness made me feel like I did something wrong and said they don’t make the chair any longer and it can’t be fixed. So I have a comfortable chair without the heating element which was the reason I chose this particular chair.
Still grateful for Chuck but disappointed and can’t recommend the store.

Relax The Back is my go-to for chairs and pillows, and almost anything else comfort-related. Their service is so good and consistent, I almost take it for granted.
When you go in, you can be sure of getting personalized attention, just the right amount of product information, expert insights, and enough space to try out their chairs and come to your own conclusions. They make the whole thing easy and fun. Best to go there when you have some open-ended time to really get the full experience.
I’m so thankful to live in a community that has Relax The Back stores, where you can go in and try before you buy, and count on great service afterward. There are some things you just should not buy online, and thankfully you don’t have to.

As a new mom, I haven’t had the chance to get many massages lately, and after recently losing our Migun massage bed (so sad!), my back was in rough shape. I decided to stop by Relax The Back, and I’m so glad I did. I was able to try out all of the massage chairs—even with my baby snuggled on my chest—and it was such a relief. Chuck was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure I was comfortable and even assisting me when I needed a hand getting out of the chairs. My baby and I had a wonderful experience. Thank you, Chuck!

Chuck at Relax the Back Encinitas has the best customer service of any store that I have ever been to! He truly cares about his customers and goes above and beyond to help. He is extremely knowledgeable and helps you find exactly what you need. I always go in to get my next purchase when Chuck is there because he gives the customer full attention. He is amazing!

My husband and I went in because we are in the market for a massage chair. Chuck was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He had us try all the chairs out, answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information on all the ones that we tried out. He was very laid back and welcoming and also gave us our space to test them out instead of being pushy like most sales people can be. I usually get overwhelmed when going into places like that so I really appreciated his approach and will definitely be going back in to see him when we do some more research to decide which chair we are going to go with. He also welcomed us back anytime if we just want to go test the massage chairs out again which is nice considering it is a pricey purchase and want to make sure we choose the right one for us.

This store is just heaven for anyone with back pain. Chuck was fantastic and walked me through the details of each chair I asked about and gave thoughtful recommendations on ergonomic options to help with my back and neck pain without feeling pressured.
