“Wonderful, amazing, enriching school. Kind, helpful, patient, teachers and staff that always smile and great you and your child warmly. My son has thrived at this school. He has made many new friends, he has self confidence, he loves going to school, and he has learned so much. The community of parents at this school is wonderful, and the small class sizes are unique and help children feel seen. I can't say enough good things about this school. The principal is always out front at drop off and pick up and greets each individual student. The academics are rigorous, but they also meet each child where they are at. The school events are very thoughtfully planned out and a lot of fun. Great school!”

“This isn't directly related to any child, however, I wanted to share what a quality person the owner is. I signed up through the dmv website to take my CA written exam on line. Unfortunately I didn't have a laptop with a webcam handy. I called every business and/or library and none of them had computers to rent with cams. I called the learning center and they allowed me to utilize there computer and webcam in a private room free of charge. I still can't believe how kind and accommodating they were? I can only imagine this is how they treat all the parents and children that need the learning center.Thanks again for your kindness.Phil”

“I cannot say enough good things about this school! We absolutely love Lighthouse. We sent our daughter here starting when she was 2 until she left for kindergarten, our 2 year old son currently attends now. They staff is so extremely loving and caring, very communicative and trustworthy. The kids learn so much!! A few months after my daughter turned 3 she already knew how to spell her name all because they taught her at school, they start to learn ABCs at a fairly young age. This is truly a faith-based program. Other preschools located at churches in the area told us they didn't work Bible teaching into their curriculum much, but at Lighthouse they have chapel day (aka Bible teaching) every Wednesday and my daughter would come home talking about Bibles stories and what she learned about Jesus. The space is perfect, 3 small classrooms and a giant outdoor space, very clean and nice facilities. The kids get a lot of outdoor time. The staff has been very consistent over the past few years, other than adding new teachers due to growing program and one retiring all the other teachers have been the same (which I know staff turnover is a huge problem in other day preschools). The program is very affordable and flexible for parents who want to do part-time option such as half days or only certain days a week. They even stayed open throughout covid, did not shut down a single day because they knew the need they were meeting and they could make it work even with the restrictions in place.. which was very important for me as a healthcare worker to continue to have childcare. We love this place. The staff is wonderful, they are gifted in what they do and are living out their life's calling!”

“Kids by the Sea has absolutely changed our lives. It’s so much more than a preschool: it’s a tight-knit community, a family. Our daughters are safe and loved and learning important skills, making friends, learning cooperative play, and constantly creating. We’ve made lifelong friendships with the other parents and teachers. This preschool is always overflowing with joy and love and we consider it a real privilege to be a part of this community. “My children have been students at Bethlehem (on the P/T side) for the last three years. Not only is the preschool a longstanding and positive part of our community but it truly strives to enrich the lives its students. Every one of the teachers my kids have had have been loving and invested in their happiness and educational growth. My kids are excited to go to school every day, come home learning new things daily and even more importantly, feel safe and secure while at school. We feel very blessed that Bethlehem has been part of our life and look forward to sending our one year old there when she's ready for preschool.
