“Can't say enough good things about our experience here. We started our son at 10 months somewhere else, but moved here shortly thereafter despite the longer drive.
There is an exceptional level of accountability and transparency that is obviously part of the management philosophy, which instills a great deal of confidence and trust as a parent that my child is receiving exactly the care that I expect.
Just as important, every teacher seems to genuinely care and connect with the children, which has been particularly significant for our son, who struggled with separation. Thanks to the excellent relationships the teachers in his room have built with him, the anxiety has become a non-issue.
Another big deal for us: they spend a great deal of time outside and are otherwise engaged in creative activities every single day. I continue to be impressed with the consistency and quality of activities that our son gets to enjoy (which we get to see during the day from the great pictures they take of him and send via the app).
There is a lot of love in this place, and we are so happy to have found it.”

“This is a fantastic daycare center! Extremely well run by Mandy (Director). The teachers are excellent and take such good care of the kids. My daughter has attended since she was 4mo old (almost 2 now). Very clean. Staff is very communicative. Great curriculum and schedule. My daughter never napped well until she joined the Toddler Room. 10/10… can’t recommend this location enough!”

“We sent both of our children from the ages of 2 to 4 to Pilgrim and we cannot speak highly enough of the school. It is such a warm/homey environment, and the teachers are so incredibly loving and caring--Miss Katia, Miss Sarah, and Miss Karina have such special places in our hearts. The school is play-based so the kids have many opportunities to explore various activities at their own pace, to use their imaginations, to play outside for a significant amount of time each day. Though the school is at a church, there is no religious curriculum, which our family preferred. Our children loved the school and were always so happy at the end of the day. We can't recommend Pilgrim enough!”

“I’m super impressed with this facility. My 5-month-old son has been attending on a part-time basis, and every visit has been such a positive experience. The staff treats him so well, and I love receiving all the updates about the activities he’s doing throughout the day. I’ve had great interactions with all of the care providers; Erin, Sophie, Wilma, and several others have been amazing (I apologize I can't remember all the names since we are newer). Michelle, the director, is also incredibly kind and attentive.

Our only hesitation with enrolling full-time is the distance from our house, but otherwise, I wouldn’t think twice about joining this center. The fact that it’s in such a beautiful area is an added bonus...it feels like you're pulling up to a resort lol.. and when my son falls asleep in the car on the way there, I can take him for a short stroller walk before dropping him off so he can get some extra sleep.

“I feel very lucky to have the joy and privilege of having both my kids go to Big Future. My son from when he was 3 years old to Kindergarten, and my daughter from when she was 2 to 3 and a half. My daughter would still be going to Big Future, if we did not relocate.

Big Future has the warmest teachers and staff you'll find in Carlsbad. They're very easy to talk to, show a lot of care and love to the kids and overall create a very safe, nurturing and heartwarming place. The school is kept very clean.

The school has a ton of activities around various events: halloween, christmas, father's day and mother's day to name a few. The teachers and staff really make a tremendous effort to create a community, bring all the families together, and also showcase the kids creativity. They put a lot of love and effort into every event they organize. The school also organizes date nights, which we've made plenty use of.

I still remember the first time we dropped our son off at Big Future; he had such a hard time with some of the other schools that we tried out, but he adjusted to Big Future so easily. My daughter the same. We always felt safe with our kids and Big Future, and are incredibly grateful for everything the school and the staff have given both us and our kids.”
