Terrible service !!! Shop at Nordstrom instead where they stand behind their merchandise. Esthetician was in and convinced me to try new skin care. Said to use it over a month for it to work and i finally gave up. My skin is so dry im miserable. They won't exchange it for my usual products that i should have stuck too. Ugh!!!!

Awww I'm kinda sad to see this place with such a low starred review. This is my local Sephora so I frequent it a lot of my re-ups on makeup. I've been to this location a dozen times and all of my visits have been pleasant. Some visits better than others based on the staff there but I was compelled to write a review after today's visit! I've been using the same makeup more or less for that past 15 years. Makeup forever has changed their palette coloring which changed my color which ended up changing my face. I've been struggling finding the correct color for my face my past few visits and have been trying to figure out a new brand to work with. I came by today to return my recent purchase. It was a color that didn't match well again. As I was standing in an aisle, looking like a lost puppy, Vanessa came by and asked if I needed any help. I had shared that my friend recommended Charlotte Tilbury and I didn't know where that section was. She then made some suggestions based on what I mentioned and she also knew why my previous purchase didn't work the best on me. She is probably the only staff member at Sephora that had really taken her time on me and had a lot of knowledge on skin types and what was best for me. She also recommended another serum that aided with my puffy eyes because I'm always so tired with my kids. She had shared that a little goes a long way and made sure I knew how to properly apply my new products. My skin looks flawless today. I went home and tried on the products. My skin has never looked so good. I'm super thankful for Vanessa for sharing the best products for me and my skin tone. As the products says.. "flawless filter"!

Super grateful for Mona Lisa at this location. She quickly and kindly recomended a mascara that solved all my product frustrations. Pleasant and knowledgeable. I'll be back to get more.

Birthday month! Time to pick up my free gift. As I entered the store I was greeted by several staff members. I love to see what's new and spend my time walking around looking at everything. I asked a an employee if they had the Sun safety kit (iykyk) in stock and he happily checked for me. They did not, I saw it online but didn't get it this year. If they'd had it I would have purchased it but I took it as a sign I didn't need it. I waffled between the Kerastase and the Mario gifts. I have a large bottle of the kerastase oil so opted for the Mario lip kit per their recommendation. Aside from me being indecisive it was a quick and easy transaction. Everyone was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Sephora is such a fun store.

AVOID. Rude staff - it's so small and cramped in there and there was employees everywhere just sitting there standing around in the way. Sephoras already suck because there are tons of kids now but the products were DISGUSTING and the staff were all so rude.

I bought something from this store recently and the lid broke off. When I went in to exchange it I had to speak with three different people, two of whom were managers (one was Melanie) and they stared me down in front of a line of people only to say no. I was shocked by the lack of customer service and frankly how embarrassing it was. Had I known a $25 product would have caused such a stir I would have taken my business elsewhere.

Zero stars if I could. Just got my makeup done and there it and looks terrible. Truly the worst experience. Please save your sanity and don't get your makeup done here.

Melanie from the Encinitas store made me feel like I was the only person in the store and her sole job was to make sure I was taken care of! I was greeted immediately when I walked in and was met with help! I left feeling so confident in the makeup that Melanie helped me choose for my upcoming wedding! She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and truly went beyond to help me out. It seemed like everyone that worked there got along and was in good spirits! I often feel intimidated by beauty supply/makeup stores but the vibe in there was so inviting and sweet! I'll for sure be back. Clean place too! :) thanks ya'll.

Not a very fun place to shop, as service was subpar - Not rude, just apathetic. They made sure to greet everyone coming into the store which was nice, but did not go the extra step to check in to ask if we needed help. When checking out, they did not offer options for which samples to choose, just threw a couple random ones in the bag without even telling you what they are. Also, I had points and was not asked if I'd like to redeem them. Part of the fun of the Sephora experience is, of course, choosing samples and redeeming your points to try samples of new products. So you'd literally get better service, from the website.

Walk in to pick up something my wife wanted as a surprise, get to the register, and the cashier girl tells me "this is a doordash order right?". Uh....no. why am I a doordash order to you? is it because I'm a POC in a heavily white area so all POC here must be delivery drivers/servants/etc? Yikes! Bad mentality to have.

Did a makeup consult here with Megan and she was WONDERFUL. She worked with me the whole time to give me a look that I loved and helped me explore products along the way! She was able to answer all of my questions, I feel it was really worthwhile if you're looking to expand or reboot your look and products.

This is my go to Sephora!! I love everything about it! It's clean, they usually have everything in stock, and they have THE BEST eyebrow stylist ever!! Megan M is literally so great at what she does! Not only does she make you feel super comfortable but she is also so sweet! My eyebrows have never looked better!

I’ve been here before to pick up orders but never to shop in person and it will be my last time. Since walking in I was welcomed by a woman “hi can I help you??” My response was no thank you. It was Thursday around 11:30 so the store was dead. I was checked on every 5 minutes to make sure I wasn’t doing anything suspicious. I’ve felt so uncomfortable the whole time. I’m a rogue customer and have been a regular at the Sephora in Del Mar since it opened. I will never comeback to this store ever. Maybe if I had blonde hair and blue eyes I wouldn’t be checked on every 5 minutes. Also maybe instead of standing around checking on me every 5 minutes you can clean your foundation testers that were absolutely filthy and hard to even test.
