I've been coming to the 6th step house for 15 out 30 years of my sobriety and I am very proud to call this place my home group. I got sober in Boston and was quite use to the meetings there and struggled when I came to California. I went to many different meetings trying to find place where I felt comfortable. Finally I landed at a step house Saturday nooner and found the best meeting in San Diego! There was a lot of laughter, people made me feel welcome. Best of all the focus was about alcoholism and how to live sober, be useful and live from the heart. There are many meeting there and is all inclusive to everyone.

Great support to the community; however, it's clear that money is Queen here - so be prepared for a lot of rules, regulations and older women and men who want to CONTROL YOU, then call the shots after holding the weight of the world on their shoulders for a lifetime. Ya know, like Thor... or something super HERO like that.
