Basically target as a store is good. But for so long wrong I have ran into a consistent problem, the food court. I started getting problems with this food court about 5 years ago. Basically every time I ate there I had gotten food poisoning. The food there has caused me to puke the next day. This kept happening a lot. Fast forward to 2023 they remodel the store, but they still have the same issues of puking after eating the food there. I don't know if the food is old? The employees don't wash their hands? In the old food court I think I saw someone without gloves on. The have pizza and popcorn, but what's the point if you end up puking after you eat it each time. The prices are okay. Overall target do better, as this could classified as a health code violation.

Jerry at the customer service counter is AMAZING! So sweet and always kind! He goes above and beyond to make sure every customer leaves with a smile on their face and that's very hard to do these days! This store is also super clean which is a plus! Thank you Jerry for always being so kind, helpful, and making every target pickup painless and enjoyable! You are the best!

Target clinic workers are very unprofessional! If you need a last minute non emergency health concern don't rely on this incompetent woman. Very disappointed even though I already know not to expect much from a Kaiser run establishment.

This location is horrible. All associates here lack customer service. No wonder because their managers Sammie and Amir lack service and very rude to customers.I am a red card member. Bought a mattress pad online because I came in store and they didn't have it. The associate shared that since I am a red card member I have 120 days to return it. So i went online to order and it came to my house. I recently bought a new house so going room by room to design. By the time I got to the room. It was 45+ days past the date. However, buying it on the premise that I can return within 120 days. I brought it back to the store to return. Sammie the manager said with mattress topper it's only 14 days return and I was outside of my return window. I shared with her my story she told me to call customer service and if they gave her the override she would approve it. She shared that she's leaving but that Amir the on coming manager would approve it. So I called and after 20 mins wait finally for customer care to approve with a Refernce number. I go up and talk to Amir. Amir didn't honor what Sammie said so I asked him to call Sammie on the phone. Another 20 mins wait and Amir comes back and said that Sammie said there was lost in translation and that I need to call customer service back for him to talk to them. So I do that, waited for 20 mins for customer service to wait to talk to Amir. Been waiting for 30 mins for Amir to come and he still hasn't come and now it's almost 2 hrs wait. This is unacceptable and this is the worst experience at Target. This location is horrible.

Do not bother calling this target they will not answer the phone and then when they do decide to answer the phone most the time they just hang up on you horrible customer service 5/19 not a single person knows how to answer the phone

I am so disappointed in Target management. My US Navy veteran father purchased $500 in gift cards for his grand and great grand children for Christmas. Upon opening their gifts, they were delighted, but upon trying to use them (at Target) they were unable to. There began an all day adventure trying to find out why. These cards, sold by Target were hacked and the funds drained. When I went to speak to the management about it, they not only told me, it is my problem (politely) but that this happens all the time!? Why would they continue to sell something that puts the consumer at risk? After calling American Express and Vanilla VISA, all operated by InComm, the best they could do is give us the addresses for the fraudulent activity, suggesting we approach the offenders or merchants of offenders. I have written to Target execs and American Express, InComm and Visa, all of whom got their cut of my father's spend. The only l**** here is my father, who is our $500. Way to delegate Target.

This was my childhood local store-used to be my favorite due to layout/accessibility- and, is now the busiest Suburban location I have been to in my adult life [I have been to locations in Brooklyn, Chicagoland, Columbus, Phoenix adjacent et al]. About two years ago, I placed a pick-up order for something minor- a 'milk' crate- and the store lmk the order was ready via email/App... said order(s) were not- and this occurred no less than FIVE times [three of those even after I began to call before driving there]. The expectant efficiency of the employees- whom, DO the most, and try their best to help, is overshadowed by the Managers and the inefficiencies of items still in a DC they were marked as ready. I was told by an eye rolling manager more than once that the App was being updated and the Encinitas El Camino Real location held stock off-site, and persons in-store picking the order were marking the Pick-up order as complete when that wasn't the case [I think they gave me $5 courtesy GC's- when a gallon of gas was that in December 2020]. Most recently, I submitted an order for pick-up and I had email confirmation of order/it stated it would be ready within two hours... I then went in after nearly thirty- hours [crunch time for a flight!] assuming it was a bug on the App for Drive-Up as they had migrated to a different customer app interface/ POS services since 2020, only to be tersely told, " we're eighteen hours behind". Whilst I am sympathetic to the employees, if I had gotten an update via the App or Email that their processing time was very behind, I would have not wasted their time at the Return/Pick-Up Desk, and simply sorted it myself- there is no communication at this location, which goes well beyond the parameters of Holidays.

It was remodeled and looks more upscale now and has a large section of male grooming products. I was impressed by the amount of mixed nuts available when I was there yesterday. However, I needed toilet paper and refused to pay Target's ridiculously high prices (even for generic). Likewise for toothpaste. And, juice. Not a place to buy basic necessities. $$$$$$$$

If you're looking for awful customer service see the manager at this target. I ordered a dive up Order at 8am by 5pm the order was still "processing" I drove 35 min to get to this store after calling the customer service line 10 times without an answer. She told me "we're a whole day behind"and "there is nothing I can do for you." I understand, but her crappy attitude made the whole experience so much worse. She then proceeded to say "why are you even here when your order says it's still processing" I replied back "I know it says prosessing, but also said it would be ready in 2 hours". Anyway don't go here. Drive to Oceanside or vista and save yourself from the horrible customer service/ b**ch manager.

There are 2 lines in guest services. One for returning stuff and another for order pick up. Please train your employees to understand that the order pick up people should not have to stand in the insufferable line of order returns where people haggle over $30 and return used garbage. I waited patiently for an order pick up only to be told to go into the single line which was 4 people deep with junk to return. I left. Two stars because this is not the 1st time this happened. This was a lot more clearly labeled before the remodel.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never experienced such HORRIBLE customer service in my entire life. Especially by A MANAGER!!!!! I believe her name was Kiki ( though she could have been wearing a fraud name tag). I've worked retail/customer service for over 18 years. Even though it is considered a "small business", we thrive on customer service because that's what makes your business run. If you don't treat your customers with respect and integrity, you better expect a horrible review. I was Christmas shopping for my sister who has been stuck home with her two toddlers who both have the flu. While I was waiting for her response I was browsing the sale rack and tried on a sweatshirt in plain site, as every single person was doing next to me by the mirror. Not only did she ONLY come up to me: what she said was appalling and made me feel uncomfortable and that I was being singled out because I look younger. I'm almost 33 years old Kiki. I may look younger than I am because I take care of my body. Maybe you should try and be more mindful before you "imply" someone of shoplifting with zero reason or evidence. She came up to me and said "you're wearing our merchandise; the sweatshirt has our tag on it" NO S*** KIKI I WAS TRYING IT ON! Like every other person had been doing throughout the ENTIRE STORE. When I explained I was simply trying it on over my clothes (it was a freaking $10 sweatshirt Kiki get a life), she said I had to use the dressing room to try any clothing on. I replied, "oh I'm so sorry, your dressing rooms are usually never open" (Which they literally are normally NEVER OPEN!) But then she decided to make another horrible ignorant comment to me. She then accused me of wearing their shoes too, which was what really pissed me off. I replied. " no actually these are Steve Maddens, they're my shoes". No apology, for any of above actions on her part what so ever. She just walked away basically mushing me to the fitting room. This soul review is based on how uncomfortable and horrible of a manager Kiki is. What a terrible example to set for your employees. I spent over $300 there and to top it off, their incredibly useless staff left the security tag on a $1.20 freaking tank top I PURCHASED. I did not steal a single thing from this horrible establishment. I plan on returning every single item and never coming back to any target for the lack of common sense in not only customer service, but in the lack of respect to a person. I would have let it go, but sure enough 10 minutes later a security guard came up behind me and started following me and asking me (not in a helpful way what so ever- like he was again implying I was shoplifting) if I needed help. I felt completely humiliated and extremely uncomfortable. I went to the front and asked to talk to the highest manager. Guess who the arrogant girl I asked brought to me? KIKI! I called her out and she played d*** (because she is) and I asked who HER boss was. She refused to give me any information, and that if I didn't want to shop there she didn't care. Kiki I hope you read this. I don't care if you get reprimanded or if your boss even cares. I believe in Karma; and Karma is a b***** Good luck with that. If I ever see you in my store, I will make you feel how uncomfortable you made me feel throughout this entire experience. I will never go to a Target ever again, I will be very vocal to others about how unethical and inappropriate your management handle situations. You made a very bad impression on your lack of education on practical and professional ethics and false accusations on people you are PAID TO HELP HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE! You lost a lot of customers because of this. Here's some advise KiKi- you will not make it in this industry. You will fail, and if you simply apologized for making me feel like I was being targeted the entire time I was there, this review would not exist. Placed an online order, said it would be ready in two hours. Three hours later I called the store to see what was going on. No one is answering at all at customer service. I came to the store four hours after I placed it and they still hadn't processed my order. I had to go through the steps to request a refund and then pick everything else out off the shelves. Not very organized here at least today! It's fine if you are understaffed, just say you don't have two hour pick up available so folks won't plan around something being ready!

Best Target in the area! If you're looking for clothing or home furnishing, this location has a much better selection than any other location nearby. I was super impressed when I went to their apparel section and found items that I had only seen online before. It's located in an affluent area, so many that's why. I don't live there, but I don't mind driving over when I need to buy clothing from Target! It's worth the drive!

I just received my credit card bill and see that i was charged twice on sep 26. I remember that The cashier was struggling and had me put my card back in the machine after I thought it had paid and said everything was fine but the two charges say otherwise. I called Target Encinitas customer service this morning, about 15 minutes ago, and was put on hold and then disconnected and now, after a dozen calls, no one is answering. This is not cool.
