I went in to check out the store before donating, since I’m moving and can’t take half of my wardrobe with me.
I tried on a few things, and as I was about to head to my car, the teenager patrol girl stopped me and accused me of stealing MY jacket — the same one I had taken off because the small space wasn’t air-conditioned.
Never going back and goodwill might be a better option for donating

legit one of the best thrift shops around 🤘🏻 so many gems & AT ACTUALLY AFFORDABLE PRICES?! unheard of these days. Love the refresh this store has gotten ✨ not cluttered at all anymore; well organized clothing, actually great selection (def got some name brand gems too) & friendly employees ☺️ thanks for keeping the prices reasonable ya’ll 💕 keep it up & I’ll keep coming back ♡

Loooove Thrifty Threads!! Been going to this place for years. I always find something cute to wear or for gifts. I found some lululemon leggings here once!! I always find a cute pair of sunnies here too! Highly recommend this shop!

If you love thrifting and beach vibes, Thrifty Threads is where it’s at. They’ve got all the good stuff-name brands, cool vintage finds and beach must haves all for cheap! The staff even makes you feel right at home and will help you find the best deals. Whether you need a flowy dress, some rad sunglasses or the perfect worn-in denim, you’ll probably leave with way more than you planned (in the best way). Seriously, if you’re in Encinitas, you should stop in!

I’ve been going to this shop since high school and have found clothes that I still wear today. The owners and workers are kind and helpful and the prices are great especially because of the location of the store and the quality of the clothes that they sell. I recommend this store to anyone who would want to find affordable and cool clothing for any ages or fashions, as this will always be one of the staple places that I go in Encinitas to find things to wear for any occasion.

Very well organized in the little space it occupies and the prices weren't too outrageous. However, I felt like I couldn't properly concentrate on looking for deals since it was so packed and was getting out of the way for people left and right. Impressive selection of tropical, beach and athleisure though!

Fun little resale store that offers a mix of funky vintage dress up, cool local surfer vibe, and fun little accessories. I went in with my daughters who wanted to find some cool jeans. We found a few shirts they liked and they ended up getting some fun jewelry and accessories. Worth checking in now and then when you're about town.
