Never open on time. This store opens at 8:10 or 8:20. Once it opened at 8:25! Don’t count on someone being there at 8am. They should change the working hours or hire staff that can’t actually arrive on time.

This is by far the worst and least helpful UPS I've ever been in. So much so that I never thought I would leave a review for a UPS store but I guess I'm just use to every other store I've ever used being helpful and polite and then after going to this one it was a shock at how petty and rude they were.I've returned many Amazon packages at other ups stores and if something wasn't taped correctly or needed something they every single time would help out no questions asked. This store in Encinitas will try and nickel and dime you for every little thing they can. I had a package recently that needed a strip of tape and they tried charging me for that here. It's just hilarious compared to all the other stores how poor the customer service is here. Will avoid this store any chance I can.Edit: reply to owner: Honestly the fees are the least of the worries, it was just odd being charged for minor things I've never experienced any other ups store do. But the worst problem here is by far the rudeness of the staff. I've dealt with two separate employees who were both short, seemingly annoyed, and offered little to no help with what I needed done. Huge lack of customer service experience it seems.

Charging me to "print" a label to ship my package. I have to email them the label and then pay a $2.25 fee to print the UPS label. Hahaha! Daisy, the manager told me to go to another store. Stellar customer service...no!

I should’ve read the reviews before going. Couldn’t believe the store wouldn’t add a piece of tape to my package and instead made me buy an $8 roll. I should’ve walked out right then and there but needed to get it mailed asap. Will not return. Awful service.

I’m all about supporting small business… But this has to be the cheapest UPS franchisee. I get we are in hard times …but, come on. His employees do the bare minimum and charge extra for tape I needed for one of my boxes - $1.18. Of the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent at their store sending Christmas gifts to family etc… there is no loyalty on their end. I have ignored the rudeness of all workers out of convenience but the customer service is terrible workers are sad and gloomy and unwilling to help. This was the straw that broke the camels back. I’ll gladly spend an extra $1.18 in gas to drive to the one on El Camino. They were amazing. Vote with your dollar.

I was need to return Amazon goods. Amazon return is always free and without box, but this return required a box, so I decided to buy it from UPS store. Usually boxes cost about couple bucks, ok maybe 5$ maximum, but they charged 17$ from me for “packing!” (They just put a tape on the box!). It’s ridiculous! You should to inform about the price for service, before to do it! I had a tape too and could do it by myself. It’s a half of the price of my return! Never will go to this shop again!

I have been to many ups stores and I have never had to pay for a strip of packaging tape. They charged $1 per strip. Pretty petty in my opinion. I ship many ups packages and I will never come to this store again

Always so pleasant when I go in for my returns or shipments. Professional, clean, thorough and a very nice staff. Eager to assist! There's something to be said for good customer service, especially nowadays!
