“We stayed at Alila Marea Encinitas for our babymoon and it exceeded every expectation. We absolutely loved our room—beautifully designed, peaceful, and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. We truly rested and relaxed, which is exactly what we were hoping for.
The heated pool during our stay was amazing and made lounging outside even better, especially with the ocean views. Every detail of the property felt thoughtful and luxurious without being over the top.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Milad, our valet driver and bellman. He was incredibly professional, always greeting us with a genuine smile and positive attitude. He consistently opened our car doors, escorted my wife and me into the property, and made us feel so well taken care of. To top it off, he even brought us chairs and towels down to the beach for sunset, which made the experience unforgettable.
Thank you to the entire Alila Marea team for making our babymoon so special. We can’t wait to come back.”
“I am very surprised to see any reviews lower than 3 Stars as my multiple (6?) visits there, grandchildren in tow, have always been delightful. The docents and other volunteers with whom I interacted were courteous and knowledgeable. I plan to visit without grandchildren (oldest is 7) so that I can actually take all the time I want before ending in the children’s interactive area. There are so many interesting and unusual exhibits to explore, and with wee ones yearning for the hands-on room, I’ve not yet been able to take the time I’d like. As I live locally, I purchased the grandparent pass, and fully anticipate using it frequently through the years. Thank you for this little gem.”
“If I didn't have Downtown Works I'd still just be working at home or from coffee shops—this place is worth it! The staff are genuinely lovely and it keeps a nice, friendly vibe with coworkers, but you're also welcome to just do your thing. I have the 24-hour access and it makes my life easier knowing I can pop in whenever I want. The space is comfortable and classy, including a nice patio outside, there's snacks, coffee, and beer on tap, plus showers and ample parking.”
“This was a dream come true! Ever since I first visited the Flower Fields years ago, I knew I wanted to take my mom here because she loves flowers as much as I do! Well, today I finally had the chance to bring her! She came and visited me from out of state, and it is a brief trip but I KNEW I definitely had to take the opportunity to bring her to the Carlsbad Flower Fields, and it did NOT disappoint! As someone with a green thumb herself, she absolutely LOVED seeing new colors of flowers she hadn't encountered before, and loved being surrounded by all the beauty. We took pictures everywhere, enjoyed some ice cream, drank iced chai and raspberry green tea from the Cafe- it was a perfect day! It favorite part was riding the tractor-pulled wagon full circle around the fields twice! ? It was so enjoyable, I am SO happy I was able to get this dream come true to enjoy these moments with her!”

“Went to the pumpkin patch across the street from the fairgrounds in the fairgrounds parking lot. It was for my neices birthday. Free parking, free admission, great selection of pumpkins. Lots of rides for the little ones. I think tickets were $5 each and each ride or the petting zoo was one ticket. Petting zoo only had goats. I was hoping to see a variety of animals.”
“We had the most incredible wedding at this venue. Not only did the wedding go exactly as we can, but we felt so taken care of by Wedgewood. Tabitha, our coordinator, was incredible. If we could redo our wedding, we would not change a thing. Thank you Tabitha and everyone at Wedgewood!”

“I had such a great time at Del Mar today, it's definitely one of my favorite turf tracks along with Santa Anita. The atmosphere, the setting, the climate - everything about Del Mar is top-notch. While I enjoy placing bets, I usually defer to my partner for help in picking winners. It's just a joy to be there and experience the excitement of horse racing alongside someone I care about. Today was truly a magical just like the last 20 years. Feels like home being there.”
“My wife and I got married June 22nd 2023. We had our reception at the Vista Optimist Club. My experience was amazing. Shannon was so helpful and professional. The venue itself was immaculate. From the garden and gazebo to the grass lawn and outdoor lighting. We had the option to have an inside outside wedding but outside waa too beautiful to have it inside.The lay out is easy for your guests to get to and from there car. Having the parking lot close by made it easy for all my guests to arrive and leave without a problem. It's easy to find right off the freeway. I highly recommend this venue and the Venue Manager Shannon. Shannon thank you so much for everything. My wife and I had the greatest night of our lives.”
“My friends and I stopped there during our food tour. We stopped back for a glass of bubbly and a great cup of cold brew coffee. It looks like a great place for some fun times. If you need a good cup of cold brew don’t hesitate to stop in and pick one up. Next time we are here we will come in for a flight tasting.”
“My kids love it here. They have been taking classes for over a year now. Coaches are awesome and staff is friendly and helpful. Large warehouse space with good variety of obstacles. Would definitely recommend it. Feel like it teaches the kids a good variety of useful skills that would help in any physical activities the Perdue.”

“Absolutely loved this place. It grows on you and we kept coming back because it felt like home. The people are so fabulous, the walk down the hill to the bluffs overlooking the Pacific were unbelievable. We liked being in the main building best as we got to meet and hang out with lots of interesting people. Can't wait to go back.”
“We bought the summer pass and it was well worth it. The kids love burning off energy and I have been extremely impressed with the teens that work there. They are all so nice and accommodating and somehow aren't even a bit annoyed when kids ask for every flavor they have (six) in their Icee. The bathrooms could stand being checked more often, but otherwise everything there is very clean and multiple hand sanitizer stations around. It's a great place to get some work done while keeping an eye on your kids from the parents area up on the top. Food prices are very fair as well. Well done, SkyZone!”
“I started attending some of the Garden Club events this past couple of years and they are exceptionally well- organized, educational, a good variety of activities, and fun! The club facilitator really does a great job at switching things up. I especially love the annual holiday events. Garden Club grounds are lovely. I always go without expectations; I know that I'll learn something, I'll meet new people, and I go with an open-mindset and fun attitude! Great way to spend the day!”

“Very comfy bed and pillows. The rooms can definitely get cold. 2 AC and 2 USB outlets on each side of the bed. The TV has HDMI ports. Room has a microwave and a fridge. Time appear to be modern decor. Check out is 12pm.
There is as pill but no hot tub. They have self service laundry too.
My only complaint is breakfast. The food is only a 4 out of 10 in terms of taste. And the only fruit are whole oranges.”

“This was my third stay at this hotel. I will probably book again because of proximity to relatives in San Diego. However, especially in the summer, this hotel seems to be the choice for many youth sports teams in San Diego for tournaments. Not saying it's good or bad, it just is so know that going in. For that reason I have to remember to request a room not anywhere near the pool. It was very loud and crowded with teenagers at night even after 10PM. My wife and I would've enjoyed a late evening swim, but didn't bother because of this. So call to see what events are being held and get a room far from the pool.”

“Some really tremendous pieces! I like all of the pieces, both old and new, from far off places, but I LOVE the original tables that they make on-site. Some of the wood slabs are just mind blowing. The people are super friendly, and happy to either leave you alone to wander around the museum-like store, or answer all of your questions- whichever you prefer. Cool cool spot!”

“Highly recommend it before going to any snowboard or ski resort! I never snowboard before taking the lessons, I did the 3 lesson package to help learn the basics and get me comfortable enough to hit big bear for the first time! Mark helped me get the scheduling set up.Mieu taught me all 3 lessons prior to heading up. I had so much fun and felt safe and in control, I was able to do all the beginner slope of snow summit, bear mountain and snow valley! Mieu set me up for success! Not only was I able to be comfortable on heel edge for hours, I got to progress and was able to try toe edge! I fell less than expected while snowboarding, but you know what they say, “if you ain’t falling, you ain’t trying”So glad with the lesson! Definitely worth it and made snowboarding fun and addicting!”
