I went to this store in Encino to buy a pack of beer.I am over 65 years old.Very obvious that I am not under 21 years old.The guy asked me to show him my ID.I showed my driver license. He took it to see it.He quickly scan my driver license. They stole my information and my personal identity without my permissionI asked the manager why you did it without my permission. He said that if I do not scan it, it will not open the cashier when you buy beer.I told him that I did not give you permission. He said, no worry. No worry, be happy,You stole my personal information.Be aware.Do not go thereYou give your driver license or any ID, they steal without your permission.I am going to bring this matter up to California General Attorney..

Great selection of literally everything. I found a really inexpensive bottle of Bourbon called Evam William's bottled in Bond which is 100 proof and costs $15.00. In a blind taste test with Bourbons of all prices I guarantee Evan William's will come out on top.

Wow... if I could give this nothing, I would. I placed an order for delivery, and only 1/2 was delivered, but I was charged for the entire order. When I called BevMo, the guy said, "Oh yeah, I see it here. You can come to pick it up." If I had wanted to pick it up myself, I wouldn't have paid a lot of extra money to have it delivered! All I wanted was for the BevMo guy (Omar?) to tell me what to do so the poor delivery guy could leave. I wasn't going to sign for a complete order, but the Bevmo guy didn't have a clue. So he goes to get a "manager." I start all over. Again, just trying to get the rest of my order or a confirmation that I would be refunded so I could sign for the rest and the delivery guy could leave. He kept telling me he had to wait for a manager. When I said, "I thought you were the manager." HE HUNG UP ON ME!I've called back twice now. The first time it rang for 2+ minutes before someone picked up but said nothing for THREE minutes. I could literally hear THREE WHOLE MINUTES OF BREATHING. I hung up and dialed back. Again, ring for a minute, then direct to obnoxiously loud hold music. I am still listening to it, waiting for someone to pick it up. Still on hold now.... 14 minutes. Someone keeps picking up, then putting it back on hold.Finally... a manager - Julian. He spoke with Drizley, and I should receive a refund in 3-5 business days? Meanwhile, Omar needs to get a job that doesn't have him speaking with the public. He's a complete and total a&&h@t. Come on, BevMo Encino, "be best" Get it together.

This BevMo location offers an incredibly expansive array of alcoholic beverages. You are sure to find something new and interesting in their many long rows of beer, wine, hard liquor, kombucha, and more. They even sell a pleasing variety of glassware. That being said, this BevMo has a strange and outdated aspect that serves as its ultimate downside - not only do they not accept ApplePay they do not accept Apple credit cards at all. I don't know of any other business in the entire city of Los Angeles (unless cash only) that does not accept Apple credit cards. They are just basic Mastercards operated by Goldman Sachs. I'm not sure if this policy is the result of old credit card processing machines or else misguided corporate governance, but in either case it may serve as a potential disincentive for you to shop there.

The staff seem great, but the reason for a 2 star review is simple. Almost all of the beer is expired. The wide selection of craft beer unfortunately does not move fast enough and selling expired/out of code beer is a horrible practice BevMo is known for. Check the code dates or born-on dates on the bottom of the package before you purchase (esp craft beer). What the BevMo needs to do is return the expired beer to the distributor because selling it to customers only makes customers hate the beer (because it will taste very bad). Again, staff is fine, the place is clean, but BEWARE OF EXPIRED BEER.

came to get some soda and i went up to the counter to pay and the lady asked me for my ID (which was reasonable, i’m 26) i gave her my ID and she claimed it was fake? told her to scan it and it scanned properly and still claimed for it to be fake? i read off all my info on my ID(address,DOB, etc) to confirm it was real and she still claimed it was fake , ironic because i’m probably older than her but that doesn’t matter. she then started to talk to me as if i was a kid and gave me horrible attitude, like seriously? this is a business, act professional when you’re dealing with customers. if i was buying something like champagne or beer then i wouldn’t be upset, but soda??? will not be taking my business here again.
