I have been coming to the Encino location for the past year and Bennett is my favorite Instructor hands down. She has motivated me, pushed me, and inspired me to continue my yoga practice and prioritize my mental health. Her classes are a sanctuary of serenity, where you can escape the chaos of daily life and reconnect with your body and mind. She provides helpful guidance, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their level, can progress and find inner peace. I highly recommend Bennett's classes and I know the regulars at this studio would agree!

I typically go to CorePower in Brentwood and Marina and have had amazing experiences with the instructors. I decided to try this location since it's close to my new job. Ironically, the Sculpt instructor, Bennett, suggested the intention of "recovery" and then proceeded to be very rude to the students throughout class. She yelled at us at the beginning of the class for not listening because a couple of students including myself didn't get a 2nd set of heavy weights. I told her I was out of shape and just planned on using light weights and she told me she didn't care and demanded I go get them. She yelled at our class multiple times for looking too tired and yelled at me twice for "looking angry." She also called people out for leaving the class to take breaks. I do not go to a yoga studio to be bullied and yelled at. Super disappointing.

I've tried just about all of different types of classes they offer and they're all great! After doing the free 7 day trial, I got the unlimited membership. Teachers are friendly, classes are challenging, atmosphere is welcoming.

I’m so disappointed in this business.I enjoyed their classes and instructors, but dealing with Customer service to resolve a billing issue reminded me that I wasn’t dealing with a consumer centered business, but rather a big out-of-state corporation that prioritizes their money over customer satisfaction. If you’re like me, there are plenty of boutique yoga studios in LA that are more reasonable, and will make you feel welcome and valued as a customer.

For more than a year and a half, I have been doing hot yoga at CorePower Encino, and I can state with confidence that it is one of the best yoga studios I have ever visited. I wanted to write a review months ago for this excellent yoga studio with dedicated teachers, but never had the chance to. This location is truly exceptional due to the peaceful surroundings, abundant parking, top-notch facilities, serene environment and knowledge/expertise of the instructors. From the moment you step into the studio, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. A smooth check-in process is guaranteed by the reception staff's friendliness and willingness to help. Showers and changing areas are kept in excellent condition, and the studio itself is immaculately clean. The whole excellent experience is enhanced by the meticulous attention to cleanliness. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the hot yoga classes! Rachel N, Sarah F, and Tatiana C are phenomenal instructors with a thorough knowledge of the subject and a sincere love of passing on their passion for teaching. Their expertise and ability to guide students through challenging poses while maintaining a supportive environment is truly remarkable.Classes taught by Rachel N. are well-structured, challenging, and open to practitioners of all skill levels. She pays close attention to alignment to make sure you get the greatest benefit from each pose while minimizing the risk of injury. Rachel's flows are not only all about asanas (poses) but she also educates her students by including facts/history and knowledge about yoga and its origin. In addition, her playlists are made with careful consideration to enhance the overall ambiance and experience - incorporating nature sounds when aiming for a more relaxing session as well as energetic songs for a more dynamic flow. Her soothing voice and upbeat personality creates an atmosphere of tranquility that enables you to focus more intently on your practice.Sarah F's classes are energizing and invigorating. She encourages you to test your limits, explore your edge, and discover new strengths within yourself with her dynamic flows. She possesses a special talent for inspiring her students to push beyond their comfort zones while still highlighting the significance of listening to your body and engaging in self-care. The class is lively with energy as everyone works together to conquer the heat and find inner balance. Each session ends with a sense of success that leaves you feeling renewed and prepared to take on the world.Tatiana C infuses her classes with a sense of grace and fluidity. Her sequences are seamlessly fluid, enabling you to breathe and move with purpose. She expertly balances strength-building poses with times of restoration, leaving you feeling both stretched and revitalized. My body and mind were challenged as I followed her calming voice through a series of sun salutations and energizing exercises. You can find serenity and tranquility in each practice thanks to Tatiana's calming presence, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The hot yoga sessions at CorePower are life-changing. Intensity is boosted by the heat, which also encourages detoxification, greater flexibility, and mental clarity. The studio provides high-quality mats, blocks, and straps to make sure you have all you need for a successful practice.Beyond the exceptional classes and instructors, there is a strong sense of community at this studio. The studio draws a wide range of people who are all committed to wellness and personal development. Whether you are a novice beginner or an experienced practitioner, the instructors will make you feel at home and supportive. In conclusion, the Encino studio is a five-star studio that consistently delivers outstanding hot yoga experiences. A big shout out and heartfelt thank you to all their exceptional instructors who guide their students with expertise and compassion. If you're looking for a studio that offers challenging classes in a warm and inviting environment, look no further. C

Yoga instructor TAYLOR P dropped a 5-pound weight and completely destroyed my phone at the Sherman Oaks location. After seeing what had happened, she did not go to me and said, "Hey, I am sorry for what I just did." Instead, she returned to her desk, sat down, and completely ignored the incident. My phone does not turn on; it's an iPhone 12 Pro max of around $1,200.00, and she only said, " I am a CorePower Yoga employee, and they should move forward with the situation, not me."I am just a college student, and my phone was my only communication method. CorePower Yoga has yet to respond to me after days of calling them and at least 10 emails sent. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone! It is disgusting how such big enterprise does not even communicate back.

Hot yoga is somehow both athletically challenging and relaxing. I leave feeling calm and meditative, and combined with other types of exercise like running and boxing it helps tone in a way working out without heat and humidity doesn't. CorePower isn't overtly spiritual, so if you're looking for a lengthy meditation in shavasana, chanting or pranayama you may want to go elsewhere, but for vinyasa flow and lots of heat it's your place!

I wasn't impressed at all with my first visit. 2 girls at the reception area didn't even bother to say anything, No one welcomed me or show me around or bothered to ask me if I'm a member , which class I'm going to . I was completely lost I had to find my way around. I think finally the manager or one of the teachers noticed and came to me and directed me to the studio. Even though the welcome was pretty pathetic the classes were good.

I've been at this studio for a few years now. Honestly, the only reason I have stuck around is that there is a teacher there on Monday and Tuesday nights from 6-7 who is, in my opinion, the best teacher here. Come visit and take Jillian's class. You can thank me later. Namaste.
