Perfect place to come on a rainy day for a big bowl of cafe au lait.I like to have the soft bolied eggs, they come with bread for dunking and a nice bowl of warm oatmeal.Today is a rainy day so it's even better. It is way more busy here than I recall. There is parking downstairs I think they validate a portion.

Great service, amazing workers, nice and wonderful atmosphere, but very poor taste of food. All came out bland,a little or almost no dressing in the salads that I ordered. Somebody need to taste the salad or the food they make before giving it to the customer. All I ate was a lot of arugula with little traces of dressing or salt. New York Le Pain Quotidien was 10 times more delicious and yummy. With nice memories of NY I came to taste the deliciousness and bum! Not even close in La in regards of taste and deliciousness. Please upgrade

I felt like I was transported to Paris. My meal was amazing, the decor sweet, and Katrina was attentive and caring. I usually stay in the Airport area but I will make an exception to ensure I get my delightful experience. Plus, the Almond Croissant was the best I ever had!

Every time I've eaten at this franchise, I've always been satisfied. It's my favorite breakfast place in San Fernando Valley, LA. The outside seating area is wide and great in nice weather. It is a place where you can go with your family and your guests with peace of mind.

Great place to come. Have a nice brunch. I was here in the afternoon and sat outside in the patio. I felt that the flatbread with cheese needed a salad on the aide to balance the ham and cheese with the bread. Since i had from my other diahes, it worked out. I also received my croissant cold. Warm would have been better and more enjoyable to eat. Im not sure if they expect me to ask, but since I don't work there, asking that question to clients wouldn't hurt.Besides that, i would go back again completely recommended.

The first and only time I went to Le Pain was at the topanga village about 5-6 years ago. I always thought they didn't have anything "special" but it was pricey. A friend suggested to meet at the encino location so we did. Food/drinks 4/5Ordered the grilled chicken Cobb salad and she ordered the black lentil salad with smoked salmon. I got an Arnold Palmer and she got a matcha latte. I really enjoyed the salad. It was nourishing, filling, and overall yummy! The Arnold Palmer came in a pitcher and tasted more like lemonade than iced tea but I still liked it! Ambiance 5/5They have indoor/outdoor seating. I sat inside as it was a hot day in October. Only a few tables were taken and it seemed like a peaceful place to spend a few hours meeting friends or working. Price 4/5 I think prices are fairly high but the food seemed higher quality so I guess that justifies the price? Lol we each paid about $30. Service 5/5 Andrea was our server. She was sweet, attentive, and patient. I chose my salad based on her rec and was not disappointed. Although they close @5, we were there til 5:30 and she did not say anything! She was so sweet about it! Overall 4/5 I would come back again!

Came here for the first time for a work lunch meeting. Seated myself outside while I waited for the rest of my party to arrive. Was greeted by a friendly waiter, who brought me my drink while I was waiting. Had the open-faced croque monsieur and it was wonderful. Portion sizes were just right, enough to fill you up but not overwhelm you. Loved the bread so much, went inside and asked for a loaf of "whatever you make your croque monsieur on". Got a half a loaf (it's a very large round bread) of the whole wheat sourdough. Prices weren't to bad, spent $48 total with tip for 2 people.

I came here to work from elsewhere for the day, and was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem! I went mid day on Wednesday and it wasn't very busy at all. I got a table fairly quickly right nearby an outlet, and ordered the Dutch mini pancakes - after checking the yelp reviews, and seeing everyone rave about them. They are better than I imagined! I don't think I've had a pastry as a delicate before. It felt like i was eating delicious puffs of air they were so light but the most delicious kind. They were light but still filling! You can't go wrong with the Dutch pancakes, hands-down, one of my favorite sweet dishes in the area. The ambience is nice though I wasn't incredibly impressed by the service. I had to flag someone down to provide me with a menu and again to take my order. Other than that, if you're thinking about going, do it! You won't regret it!

I always go to Le Pain Q for breakfast. But today we tried the lunch for the first time. We had two beers, a glass of wine, two soups an avocado toast with salmon and a hot bowl of grains with chicken.Overall, everything was great, and the service was super good. The server chewed up on us several times. That said, the chicken on added to the bowl did not have any flavor. If it was spiced up, it would have been better. Also, there is much room for improvement in the tomato soup recipe. It was barely okay. The lentil soup was really good. Now, I just had a bite of the fruit tart. Loved it. Will I go back again, heck yah.
