The voice message says they are no longer open to the public (May 2017). Too bad, my wife loves lavender. Now only on-line shopping.

Last thing I heard, the place is now closed. Best give them a call. It was a great place to visit, they offered a nice lunch, and a great place to purchase gifts.

I attended a wedding here. I was the hairstylist for the wedding party so I was there longer than other guest. The staff was very helpful. I had forgotten an extension cord and they found one quickly for me. The bride was very happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend this venue to any of my clients who are brides.

I love this place because it's so beautiful! I heard about it from a friend who went there for lunch and then raved about how much fun she had. So, I took my teenage son there for lunch and believe it or not...he had a really good time.

This place is lovely! I went with my daughters and a friend. The lavender themed lunch was delish! The grounds are very nice. The store had many cute things for purchase. Definitely worth a trip out there!

This is a great place to spend half a day if you love lavender and aren't too afraid of bees. The lavender lemonade is great, as are all of the old cars. Most of them run as good as they look! I had a great time at lavender hollow, and I will definitely be back next year.

Ever dream of frolicking through fields of big, beautiful bushes of lavender? Well, you're in luck. Lavender Hollow really feels like a dream come true. Conveniently located in the middle of nowhere, you will certainly be rewarded for your efforts in making the trek out here. Lovely scents, barrage of lavender-- this farm will appeal to any woman of any age. My friend and I excited jumped out of my car and immediately began taking pictures amongst the purple fields. It took us a good hour just to make it to the actual lunch box booth. We take pictures squatting near the flowers, jumping next to the bushes, sitting at the benches, lounging at the table (and every photo looked gorgeous because of the scenery). Our excitement further raised when we reached the booth to order a lavender box lunch. The ladies at the booth were incredibly friendly (and dressed appropriately in lavender tops). My favorite part-- the cute napkin with a watercolored painting of a lavender farm. I gawked at the napkin (usually the most unmemorable part of a meal), and could not bear to use it to wipe my dirty mouth! Instead, I stored it away to keep as a souvenir. The lunch was honestly not that magnificent, but the atmosphere-- eating in such a lovely place in such perfect weather-- made this lunch particularly spectacular. Sometime during lunch, one of the ladies brought out the most adorable looking baby girl, adorned in a fluffy lavender-colored tutu. It was so precious! I chatted with the woman who owns the farm. She told my friend and I that they open up their lavender farm for visitors about one month every year. On the off months, she simply lives there with her husband on that beautiful chunk of property. She was kind enough to let my friend and I explore the backyard. The backyard had a canopy of trees, a lovely swinging bench, roosters, and a lovely bench. We continued with our incessant picture taking until we were satisfied. Spending a lovely Spring day here with my best friend was quite possibly the most memorable day of my year. Everyone MUST come here!

I adore the fragrant scent of lavender. It is so soothing and calming. While I have not actually visited the Lavender Hollow Farm itself, I have had the pleasure of purchasing and using some of their products. As mentioned by the previous yelpers, Lavender Hollow Farms has a booth at the Modesto Certified Farmers Market. I am always drawn to this beautiful little booth as I make my way through the street and booths of fresh yummy produce. On my most recent visit (yesterday), I sampled the lavender hand & body lotion and lavender essential oil. The lotion was so creamy and moisturizing. It emitted the most lovely lavender scent. Dreamy. The essential oil was also pleasing to the nose. Smelling the oil, I imagined that I was in Provence amidst all of those lovely fields of lavender. Did you know that lavender essential oil imparts a feeling of calm and can help you cope with a headache? Just dab a little bit on your temples to help sooth that pounding head. A little dab of the oil on your temples can also help lull you to a peaceful night's sleep. Sweet dreams! ZZzzz....

What a fun place to take your mom for tea in the spring (keep your ears open for the Mother's Day Tea-- it sells out quick). The grounds are beautiful, the family very hospitable, and the food....! Lavendar scones, lavender tea, lavendar lemonade-- all delicious. Definitely check out their booth at the Modesto farmer's market. The prices have gone up in the last year, but it's still worth it. I love their linen water (the scent does not break down after time) and the scone mix (a little labor-intensive but fantastic results).
