“My 11 year old kitty was seriously slobbering one day. And her gums looked blistered. I took her to an urgent care.
After going to this urgent care vet and getting basically lousy service, I went to these people for a second opinion. The 1st vet took a quick look, said it was kidney failure or dental. And then told me to get a loan, since I didn't have pet insurance, for the obscene price she quoted me. ONE tooth and tests $1500.
Escalon Small Animal Clinic vet took a serious look at her. She wasn't in kidney failure. Her teeth were good except for some plaque which is normal for her age. She did get a antibiotic shot and gabapentin (which I protested but was told that was my only option) from 1st vet.
The infection cleared up and her lethargy and disinterest in food was side effects of the gabapentin. My new favorite vet prognosis.
They saved my cat from unnecessary, dangerous surgery and me over $1400.

“Almost a year ago my dog suffered what was diagnosed as a type of stroke. I only ended up at sisk because it was the closest to my home in my emergency. That being said, the entire staff was beyond empathetic, understanding, making what I was thinking would be my dogs last day. Thankfully he slowly came out of it and has made almost a full recovery. The Dr. was extremely explanatory in options and continued care. For this reason, I will be taking him back for an ear issue he's continued to have that the seemingly "top clinic" in Escalon couldn't seem to get a handle on.”

“I cannot say enough about the care and patience of this vet. Dr Singh deserves shoutouts and praise for his quality of care, patience, and clear communication. We live in Hayward and drive out to Salida just to meet with him!
The first time I came to Sisk, Dr Singh, helped take care of my dog who had pneumonia and was not getting good care at other vets. He showed me where my dog would be kept, observed, and how they would diagnose what may be going on. This really helped me feel at ease and comfortable. He also prescribed some antibiotics which really effectively helped my dogs recovery.
The 2nd time I had to get some xrays and do a dental cleaning for zeke. He spent time before the appointment examining his teeth, and addressing my questions about zekes health. Based on that, he suggested we wait for the xrays and more information and then determine next steps.
I have nothing but praise for the work and time Dr Singh has helped me with Zeke. 5/5 stars on service, communication, and trust. Definitely recommend!”
