Terribly disappointed that this location is going to change their hours starting April 5th to no longer be open 24 hours. The sign at the entrance says they're doing it to "better fit club usage patterns." Yeah, sure. Every Monday I'm in there at 430 and there's a lot of people working out. And weekend hours not opening up til 9am? Back to Chuze I guess!

This is the worst gym I’ve ever been to. Many of the lockers in the locker room were broken. People gather around the whirlpool, steam, room, sauna and pool with out going in, they’re just hanging out. The rules of showering and not wearing sneakers in the sauna or steam room seem to not apply as I watched people come straight from working out and coming right in. I saw quite a few people take off the shoes and shirts and jump into the whirlpool after working out. It is disgusting and no one walks around to enforce rules or tell people to congregate elsewhere. The locker rooms are filthy and the whole place is mismanaged.

I like the location and I like how spacious it is. It’s just really dirty, it’s like the floors don’t get swept, the locker rooms don’t get mopped and the bathrooms aren’t clean. People do not wipe their sweat off the machines or mats. Staff is nice

While I really love this gym, there’s only a couple things that make me want to go to the one by the mall. Don’t get me wrong, the gym is very clean, the bathroom are great, the staff is great, the equipment is great, but absolutely no one here as basic gym Etiquette. The weights are pretty much just thrown anywhere which 30lbs in the 10lbs slot and just all over the place. It makes it hard to find any of the weights when they’re all put back in the wrong spots and thrown all over the gym. great gym still but this is the one thing that is extremely frustrating.

When compared to other 24 hr fitnessesPros: bigger pool 3 lanes vs 2Cons: dirty, mold in showers, sauna, steam room, toilets. I would have the cleaning crew spend some extra hours doing cleaning wherever there is mold or dirt build up (sauna, steam room, showers, swimming pool, spa, and toilets). Not as updated as others, super hot upstairs (no fans or other ac). They also don't have the swimsuit dryer! I would drive the 2 miles to the other location for a cleaner and better workout.

Normally I don’t leave bad reviews unless someone really upsets me. I come to this gym almost daily and last night when me and a friend went in to work out, my friend wanted to purchase a water. The coolers usually have a sign on it saying “closed” when it’s closed. Since there wasn’t a sign on the fridge, my friend proceeded to grab a water to take it to the counter to be rung up but out of no where employee Wyatt yell “Yo It’s closed!”. My friend doesn’t speak very good English so he asked politely “can I buy it?” And Wyatt said “I said no!” and rolled his eyes. He then returned talking to his friend at the counter. He’s rude, disrespectful, and completely ignored us when we came in. The customer service is definitely not it at night! Never had a problem otherwise. Stay clear of Wyatt if you don’t wanna be disrespected.

Title: A Breath of Fresh Air at LA Fitness!I've been a dedicated gym-goer for the past 20 years, and last week, I finally made the switch from 24 Hour Fitness to LA Fitness. Let me tell you, it's been a game-changer!My experience at 24 Hour Fitness had become increasingly frustrating. The gym's equipment, especially the bikes, seemed to be in a perpetual state of disrepair. What made matters worse was that the staff appeared disinterested in addressing these issues. It felt like a never-ending cycle of broken machines. But this week, I took the plunge and joined LA Fitness, and I can't help but wonder why I didn't make the switch sooner. It's like a breath of fresh air. The difference is night and day.At LA Fitness, the equipment is well-maintained and in excellent working condition. It's such a relief to hop on a bike that isn't falling apart. What's even more impressive is the responsiveness of the staff. They genuinely care about the gym's upkeep and the members' experience. Whenever there's an issue, they're quick to address it.If I could turn back time, I would have gladly paid the extra money and made the switch to LA Fitness a long time ago. The improved atmosphere and dependable equipment have reinvigorated my passion for fitness. I'm looking forward to many more productive workouts at LA Fitness. It's a gym experience I wish I had discovered sooner!

In terms of convenience, this La Terraza location is the easiest 24 for me to get to on a regular basis. Since consistency is a key to any level of physical fitness, I'm here pretty frequently.By their own system of categorization, this 24 is labelled a Super-Sport. The indoor basketball court & indoor swimming pool are probably the main features of this club that make it that level. On the ground floor is an ample amount & variety of cardio machines. The 2nd floor is free weights, weight machines, & a classroom. From an equipment standpoint, this 24 has always had plenty for me to work with.Which brings me to the elephant in the room, cleanliness. La Terraza is generally not as clean as most other gyms I've ever used. But, whenever I'm here, I always see the cleaning staff doing their job. Nonstop.A seeming paradox. How could this be? Having been here enough, I think know the answer. It's the clientele. I've seen toilets in the men's room with more toilet paper in it than makes any rational sense. Who does that?I feel pretty certain there are enough gross & disgusting members making messes here that they're ruining it for everyone else. It's a shame. If this gym were cleaner, I'd give it 4 stars. But this is why we can't have nice things.

I use this gym because of its convenient location but the quality is subpar. The showers are usually unclean & there are tiny flies in there. The cardio equipment is good & there are plenty of machines. The weight room, however is another story. Some machines have been broken for over a month, the dumbbells are never organized, the mirrors are dirty... Also the weight room is always hot in the summer (it's on the second floor & they seem to be unwilling to use the AC).Contrast that with the 24HR at the mall, which is a newer & much nicer facility that the staff keeps clean.

I like this club. Now that they are open 24 hours again, im very excited for the probability to switch from the membership gym i have now. Steam room sauna. big enough free weight section to hold alot of people. Does seem a little dirty and dingy. And i overheard members talking about how much needs to be fixed around there. I have not been enough times to notice what they were talking about. It is a little run down and outdated as well. But i think for me this will be a good fit

This 24HF could use some cleaning. I am used to go to the Carmel Mountain and Rancho Penasquitos branches and enjoy way more because they are super clean always. Also the vibe is different. Many ladies in the zumba classes think they own the place and they don't allow the ones like me that go from time to time to be in the front row. Ladies, we all pay and spot is first come first serve. No matter how many bottles or other things you put on the floor to save 'your' space does not or should not count. Feels crowded, rude people, no AC working properly.
