After the first grooming, the owner texted men and Raised price from $80 to $250 for a Bichon haircut. No air conditioner inside on a supper hot summer, and do not take card transactions. I’ve had a dog for more than 10 years, and This is the most ridiculous experience ever with a groomer shop.

Absolutely love how she leaves my dogs hair, she is always so welcoming and happy when we walk into the shop. I've recommended this shop to a couple of my friends and hopefully they end up liking it as my as me. She always gives my baby a little bow tie and leave him smelling amazing. I really recommend this shop to anyone looking for a new groomer! I've been to other places and they don't do it like how she does!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet!!I love taking my yorkie here. Masako always does the best job and I know my little guy feels so at ease. I had been to a few other places in Escondido that just weren’t up to par. One time they almost gave my dog to the wrong person…That would never happen with Masako. 10/10 recommend Blue Dogs to everyone!

While visiting Escondido we were so lucky to find Masako at Blue Dogs. Her attention to detail is impressive and she made Monster and his Doggy parents happy.

Recently relocated from the Bay Area and in the market for a boutique style dog groomer (I am not a fan of chain type business). The Dog - I have a cute spoiled Shih Tzu who maintains a certain look that I prefer. Off top the grooming photos provided on yelp were impressive! Right away I knew this is the place I have been searching for. I reached out Masako and explained my dog is slightly temperamental who requires a face and tail trim only. While reading the fine print she mentions that she will not tolerate dogs who misbehave or bite, I was a little hesitant at first. To give you some insight I groom my fur baby entire body due to past traumas. He does not like his paws touched, he is also sensitive to outside noise, including the sound of clippers, blow dryers and washing machines while being groomed. After a semi brief conversation Masako agreed to the appointment. Also, I would like to mention that the correspondence between us was top tier via voice & text. I am not sure if Masako does this for clients but she provided an in-house cutting tutorial which was greatly appreciated. She was patient while explaining in great detail her grooming procedure. At first my dog was a little resistant considering this was his first time with a new groomer but eventually settled down and Masako did her magic. Overall I had a wonderful experience! Masako went above and beyond while accommodating my dog needs. I would like to mention that she is a highly skilled groomer, while her scissor work is impeccable. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby, I will be back! I highly recommend Blue Dogs Grooming!

Looking for a good groomer is sometimes quite the task. Our 12 yr old Finn is such a gentle souls but as a rescue due to past trauma he tends to get very nervous around new people, especially anyone who is touching him. We were so Lucky to find this place, for our 1st visit she told us all would b okay and even allowed my husband to stand by Finn while he got groomed. He's gone back a couple of times and each time we pick-him up and he's just adorable and so very happy. He loves getting groomed. Price is not an option when it comes to our Finn. The other thing we love and appreciate is the groomer texting us updates and pictures of our boy.

Super confused at the high ratings. We took our dogs in after being quoted $95 for a full groom. Full groom includes bath, haircut, anal gland expression. $5 extra for teeth brushing and $2 extra for a breath mint. We were also told that there may be an extra fee for disposition, which is understandable. There is also a $2/min fee for tangles. Also didn't seem like a problem. We brought our dogs in and if she couldn't flow the brush straight through, that was considered a tangle. I groom my pups weekly. When I hear tangle, I think matt. She meant if she couldn't brush it straight through with a matt comb, that will be $2/hr. We asked for an estimate since she only accepts cash, check or Venmo. She couldn't give us an estimate. It was a waste of time to bring them in.

I haven't been this happy with a groomer in a very long time. I was visiting Escondido and had been traveling with my 5 pound, 15 year old poodle, for several weeks. She was in need of grooming. I chose Blue Dogs Grooming because of the wonderful reviews and I am so happy I did.

I've been taking my small breed dogs (boba and mini) here for the last few years. Price is fair and the work is excellent. I usually get the bath package which includes nail trimming. These people are experts on their profession. Not only do they clip the nails, they also file the nail down. Many other place that I've tried in the past doesn't file the nail therefore the dogs nail is still sharp and it's painful went your dog scratches you. They trim the hair around the butt very well so that when your dog does a number one, there are less chance it will stick to your dog fur. This place does all the little things that has a positive impact on your dog. I highly recommend this place.

Long overdue review for Blue Dogs Groomer and her amazing services! The old place that I used to take my Pomeranian Alizé for her hair cut was weirdly closed for the day without any prior warning, which was a bit annoying, but it all turned out for the best because now I've found a place to take my 3 little dogs Alizé, Bacardi and Kahlua at the Blue Dogs Groomer! They're super kind and accommodating, and I have never seen anyone cut my dogs' hair so nice! The only problem we had was when Alizé came back home she started acting weird and vomiting and having a hard time swallowing her food. We decided to take her to the vet and get her checked up. The vet said that its her trachea causing her to vomit. Many things that can trigger trachea collapse and one of them is applying pressure to their neck. The owner of the groomer was so nice and offered to pay for the vet's fees. Overall the service was excellent!

Best groomer ever! Wonderful Haircut skills! I went to 2nd time this grooming shop. I really satisfied there service which means haircut skills and prices too. Also I really thankful they are sent to us after haircut pictures. Thank you for caring about my furry baby. He is ready for Summer:)

Dogs who come to this salon for a haircut are not allowed to p**** If your pet can't stop pooping during a haircut. The owner of this salon will send you pictures of pets pooping while you eat lunch. The shopkeeper will refuse to serve.Be sure to ask the price of a haircut at this salon in advance. Because the shopkeeper will not take the initiative to tell you that they have increased their prices. Such behavior is a form of deception. I don't care about the five dollars, what I care about is why you didn't tell the customer at the beginning that you had increased the price.
