P.S. I stopped by this store again today and was pleasantly surprised at the availability of shopping baskets and carts. Thank you for the quick response time. That is what service is all about!

Continues to get worse, they now added one of those police cameras to the parking lot (see photo) which also sometimes says over a loudspeaker "This parking lot is being recorded." This just makes the vibes even worse. The same useless staff works here still and the prices are not good. What should be the actual entrance remains a locked door. Avoid this location

Horrible minute clinic. So far been waiting for nearly 30 minutes past our appointment time. Bathrooms are locked, no access.

2023 downgrade. It's been 10 years since I've last reviewed this CVS. Unfortunately, for most of these 10 years, I've kept using CVS as my primary prescription pickup place. It wasn't until recently that I realized that CVS has been ripping me off, ripping all of us off. These days, you have to use online coupons here to get reasonably priced medication. Of course they don't tell you that. A coupon is the difference between $90 for a prescription vs. $500 for the exact same prescription. I've found better deals at Vons and Walmart, so you really need to shop around. This location, in particular, has gone so far downhill that pretty much everything is locked down because of theft. That may be times we live in, but when you need a $3 item and there is nobody to help unlock something, it's infuriating. tip- If their system states that an item is stock but you can't find it, try looking around the same area in the wrong spot. This is another issue I've had with this place.

Told me my prescription would be ready in 10 min. 30 MINUTES LATER I'm still sitting there with a fussy baby and they say it's out of stock. So why tell me to wait?!? How long would I have sat there if I didn't go back up? Manager didn't even do anything to remedy it. Ridiculous to make a new mom wait for nothing.

They took 1 1/2 hours to process my medicine when it was pre ordered. And they even forgot half of it. I watched them spend 30 minutes to simply grab a Benadryl they forgot!!

I like this store in that it is a convenient location, it is open 24-hours, and I really like the pharmacy staff. My only problem with this store is they are always seriously understaffed. They do not have enough people behind the counter to fill prescriptions, to work the pickup counter and the drop off/help counter, or to answer the phones. If you have to call the pharmacy for anything, expect to be on hold for an hour or more. I do not blame the staff as they are wonderful. And this store always has more pharmacy costumers in store than any other CVS I have ever been to. And they have the same number of pharmacy staff as stores with the half the customers. I have to assume that either the manager does not know how to adequately staff a store based on volume, or the manager does not care and is increasing bottom line at the expense of customer service and satisfaction, or the Corporation is dictating staff levels with a staffing model that uses roughly the same number of pharmacy staff regardless of pharmacy volume. Again, I must stress I like the pharmacy staff, it is the inadequate number of staff that is problematic.

This pharmacy needs more staff. It is always busy. The employees are working hard however they simply do not have the staff necessary to help the amount of customers. No matter what time of day they have a line that is too long. And more training for some on the register. Please!!

The slowest CVS pharmacy, sad to see how poorly understaffed the pharmacy department is. There is always a line that spans the length of the store. I feel horribly for the workers as I can't imagine they are being paid enough to be put in that position and deal with some of the customers.

These unprofessional and unethical scam artists have been lying to me and agreeing to send an important brand name and hard to get RX by mail to me since last Thursday. This was confirmed that they had it for me by a pharmacist at my local CVS. I have been contacted over and over by the Escondido location with lies, errors, deceit, contradictory statements, and now, after it was explicitly promised to me in a conversation with Erica the store manager on Saturday on her personal cell phone, with her representing that it would be mailed to me without fail or other aberrations first thing today Monday Aug 7 2023, she contacted me today to say she could not have it sent due to another error. This item is in short supply and they have been stringing me along for days. With many lies/delays and now refusing to send it. She said she would send me a photo of the problem unit that they had and were supposed to send on Thursday, then Saturday, then today, and now refuse to send today, and she has not done this ( emailed the photo). The item was reserved for me on Thursday and then they tried to pass off a generic. She said that Jimmie the pharmacist would call me asap and he has not. They do not pick up their phone.

This pharmacy is the absolute worst. They need corporate to do a unplanned visit. Literally standing in line currently with ONE person at the window and we are TWELVE CUSTOMERS deep in line!!!! Came yesterday to fill a prescription that was on hold by my normal cvs pharmacy (2427 e. Valley parkway) pharmacist here told me there was no quantity on the medication AND it was for an inhaler. No..... my normal pharmacist told me the quantity, dose, and frequency for my albuterol sulfate before I even drove across town. Basically this pharmacist called me a liar and then said he'd need to call my doctor to clarify. EVEN though I pulled the prescription up on my cvs dashboard showing all the information he needed. I called my doctor and she said she'd call him immediately. Then proceeded to still wait 2hrs for them to fill it just for it to be almost triple the cost I was told on my dashboard so I ended up having to leave without my medication after wasting all that time. I hate this pharmacy it's only benefit is it's 24hr. Avoid unless it's emergency or your normal cvs is out of stock.

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy in all of California. They can never find prescriptions, will have you waiting two hours for a script just to tell you they can't fill it! I wouldn't send my worst enemy there for a band aid. This is my second time having an issue with them regarding veterans and insurance and each time has been worst than the last. They need to close the whole department at this store because it's honestly more of a nuisance than a help.

My prescription was ready and when I asked them a question about my insurance they made me sit and wait for 45 minutes for no reason. I will never come back here.

This store is super convenient for me...but every since time I go there, their self checkout NEVER works & staff takes forever to come over. Today, 2 staff members were right next to the checkout & just kept talking to each other, completely ignoring customers even though 2 of us needed help with the checkout.
