I need a new propane company, Called Ferrellgas to get a quote at 11:30 am. Went straight to voicemail and the voicemail was full so could not leave a message, I guess they don't want any new business.

Absolutely the worst customer service in recent memory. Received an invoice more than double any charge in past five years. No changes in any circumstances or useage at my residence. Called customer service and was told I would have to speak with a manager and would receive a call back in 24 hrs. No call back. Have asked for delivery receipt documenting date, time, begin reading and end reading of delivery unit/ Asked why price per gallon is 45% above market for that day? Asked why my tank of 25 years has never received any maintenance, pressure check, or aesthetic refurbishment? Run, do not walk from this service provider.

First delivery was within a day and a half. The delivery driver was great. The price quoted on the phone was super cheap. Will update this when I receive the bill and see it their prices continue to be low and service good...

I had my first service with Ron based out of Escondido and he did a great job! The customer service is great and he was very timely. Thank you!

No help to people dealing with homeowners on deployment. If you are renting and have someone possibly going on deployment make sure to refill now cause they not going to help.

I scored when they had a Black Friday sale last fall. I hope they do it again this year. I can always use a savings!

We live in Vista on a narrow one lane private road. Our driveway requires some tricky maneuvering to get back near our tank. Unfortunately it was our driver’s first day on the job. He was valiant and got the job done. BUT you might want to keep track of deliveries to difficult areas and be sure to send experienced drivers to those houses. Perhaps use Google Maps to determine the level of technical difficulty.Do you have any propane trucks smaller than the typical Bobcat? It might be wise in areas like mine.

We have had a tank at our property for years. We have not been using fuel for the last several years, but keep the tank as a backup. We use it only for fireplaces, and have been using space heaters. For many years we paid the same amount for rent. A few years ago, Ferrell charged us a fee for not getting a delivery. When I protested, they waived the fee. This year they charged us five times the normal rent as a fee for not getting a delivery. They said it was in our agreement, but when they sent a copy of the current charges, the fee for nondelivery that we were charged was twice the listed amount. They also said that their costs for the tanks had gone up and that was part of the reason they were charging more. My response was that it was the same tank, so they had had no additional costs for years. The tank is old and rusty. I cannot imagine that they would be able to rent it out to anyone else in the condition it is in.They finally told me that they would adjust the rent down to the same amount as before.I am not impressed with the company's service.

For years, Ferrellgas was my go-to propane provider. Their customer service was top-notch, and I never thought I'd consider switching. But everything changed with their recent system overhaul. The once-smooth path to getting answers about gas pricing has become a maddening maze.Gone are the days of friendly reps providing clear information. Now, a faceless automated system reigns. Sure, I can "order" gas, but I'm left clueless about the crucial details: the price per gallon and the actual quantity delivered. I hit "pay," but with no transparency, it feels like a leap of faith, not a purchase. This isn't just frustrating; it's questionable. Transparency in pricing is fundamental to fair business practices. And frankly, it's a slap in the face to loyal customers.Meanwhile, competitors of ferrellgas shine with readily available representatives who answer questions and address concerns. It's a stark contrast to Ferrellgas's new customer-desert approach. So, with a heavy heart, I'm contemplating a switch. Trust and effective communication have always been the most important aspects to consider, and right now, Ferrellgas seems to have misplaced both.

Super nice ?. I have a mobile grooming van I always bring it here to have the propane filled. I've heard horror stories from other grooms about taking there van to get filled up somewhere else and they complain about the location of the Valve makes us feel bad. But not here Zach is on it my favorite person here by far!

Ridiculous. The equipment I lease from them is rusting, have warned them multiple times, and now I have a leak. Todd Shaw (General Manager) and Jordan Horn (Regional Account Manager) at Ferrellgas have been incredibly dismissive about the wasted gas and the plumber bill...to inspect a leak coming from their equipment. And now I have a red-tagged tank, plumber bill, not to mention my family being at risk for so long. And the icing on the cake - the driver hit a pillar on my property as he was leaving today, second time it happens. Last time it took me six months to collect payment. See the pictures of the state of the tank. These guys are negligent to an extreme.
