Such a horrible experience!! It was our first time in this low quality store, my husband kindly asked a child ( The boy was probably 9 ) that was taking packages of the shelves and shaking the contents to the floor, one by one to stop doing it. Next thing I know we have a store employee and their parents yelling at us.
If your favorite sport is shoplifting this store should be in your list!!!

This location is very spacious and organized. The employees are very helpful and kind. I ended up purchasing a cute gag gift as a birthday present for a friend. Five Below is always a very unique shopping experience.

Stopped by this Escondido location tonight to make an exchange/return as the items I purchased online came in broken (ceramic figurines in horrible packaging). The manager on duty proceeded to let me know because these were purchased online, I could not return them in
store and have to ship them back to their warehouse. As odd as I found this, I politely thanked him and walked away. As I walked out, I looked up their returns policy and literally the first paragraph outlines that any in store or online purchase can be returned to any if their store locations!! So I go back in and ask to speak to this young manager again, after 15 minutes of waiting for him, his employees tell me he’s outside throwing the trash. I then asked the sales rep in front of me if he knew if the items I wanted to exchange were in stock, he responds “ I don’t know, I just got here”. He completely ignores me and leaves me standing there, so I turn to a female employee next to him and ask her for assistance locating this item and she said “ if they’re not in the art aisle we don't have any” without even looking, without offering any type of assistance. I encountered 3 sales reps and each one had worse customer service than the prior. I shop at this store regularly, however this was my first time requesting assistance as I typically check myself out and my goodness it was below subpar. I will be contacting corporate tomorrow morning to get a clear answer on the returns/exchange policy and to make a formal complaint on their employees at this location.

It was a terrible experience with the supervisor, he was helping me with a problem and he went to his lunch without saying anything, taking my receipt and me without being able to have any solution.
