Last minute I needed a new veil within a week, Jenny was able to get it done in 3 days and colour match perfectly for me! I would highly recommend.

My experience with Freedom Brides was a rollercoaster—starting with excitement, turning extremely stressful, and ending with mixed feelings. While I found my dream dress quickly and initially received great service, the alteration process became unexpectedly costly, confusing, and emotionally exhausting.
I found the perfect wedding dress right away. Jenny was warm and welcoming, and I purchased the gown for $500, with an additional $200 quoted for alterations (sleeves, length, and back adjustment). I was thrilled.
A month before the wedding, I scheduled a fitting and discovered the sleeves no longer fit. Jenny re-measured my arms and confirmed my measurements hadn't changed. She admitted the situation was baffling, as only the lower part of the sleeves had been altered. I trusted her expertise and didn’t anticipate that the cost of correcting this would fall on me.
I returned for a second fitting on 5/7 but Jenny had a personal emergency, so she was not prepared and nothing on dress was changed and she meant to cancel me but for some reason I did not receive that message so I showed up, a 35 min drive one way.
I was scheduled for a 3rd fitting on 5/14—just five days before my wedding. At that fitting, I was shocked to find completely new sleeves from a different dress, with a different pattern, attached without my consent. The back of the dress was also still incomplete. The unexpected change made me anxious, but I remained understanding and asked if some original sleeve elements could be reintroduced to maintain a cohesive look. Jenny agreed to add lace back at no extra charge.
Then, on 5/16—two days later—I was blindsided by a $682.50 invoice. Jenny described the work as a “reconstruction project,” citing hourly charges for the seamstress’s work on the waistband, sleeves, back, fittings, corset, and more. At no point had this cost been communicated, and I had not agreed to such extensive work but ultimately it had to be done if I wanted a dress at all. Jenny referenced posted shop policies, but my unchanged measurements and lack of prior notice made the charges feel unfair. She insisted she was doing me a favor , that I should be grateful for all the work and gave me an example of a similar bride whose arm muscles grew over a weekend of moving out. I felt rushed and cornered into paying the full amount without reviewing the invoice in detail. She also warned that one more invoice would follow for that week’s remaining work. Jenny said she had to leave town and delegated final coordination to the seamstress.
On 5/17—just two days before the wedding—I met the seamstress to pick up the dress. She did a great job reapplying some original sleeve elements, and I was happy with the result. Jenny had promised to send the final invoice that day, but I received it a week later: an additional $341.25. She noted she’d waived charges for her own time, implying the total could have been higher.
After the wedding, I carefully reviewed both invoices and found numerous inconsistencies: charges for fittings (advertised as free), work from dates I was unaware of, and charges Jenny had previously promised to waive amongst other details. I emailed her with my concerns and offered to pay a portion of the second invoice. To her credit, she responded by dismissing the invoice entirely, which I genuinely appreciated.
The end result: a beautiful dress, but an experience marked by unnecessary stress, miscommunication, and surprise charges. Brides—be cautious. Ask detailed questions, confirm all pricing in writing, clarify what constitutes “adjustments,” and plan fittings well in advance.
Good luck, and happy wedding!
Thank you, Jenny and team, for your efforts and for ultimately ensuring I had a wedding dress for my special day.

I had an amazing experience at Freedom brides. I got a custom dress. My bridesmaids were welcome to come and get alterations. And were treated like human beings not dollar signs. Freedom brides care about you and ur love ones looking ur best on that beautiful day. Jenny and her husband Dan are gentle souls. Thank You Jenny, weddings can be stressful but my experience at freedom brides was the one thing I knew would be simple every time I walked through those AC doors.

I had the best experience at freedom brides! When I came it was our last appt for the day and I was feeling down because I couldn’t find anything that was me. I was looking for something less traditional and also my timeline was getting short.Jenny was so wonderful and patient with me. She really tried to help me find what I was looking for and then she suggested they could make something for me! I showed some photos of what I wanted, we picked out swatched and colors etc. She was always timely getting back to me or letting me know next steps. And she was able to help make my dress dreams come true within my budget! I’m so happy I came to freedom brides!

Terrifying Poop on the toilet. Literally made me take off my clothes. Grabbed no dresses that I liked. Did not hear any of the things I was looking for in a dress. A ROCK IN THE BUILDING??? Literally shell shocked.

Jenny is one of the most professional, honest, compassionate, and level-headed business owners I have had the honor of meeting.I booked a last minute appointment to look at budget friendly dresses 6 weeks before my intimate wedding. Her bridal salon was the only one willing to work with me on such a tight schedule. The initial appointment was so delightful and I felt inspired by Jenny's strong work ethic and dedication to her clients! I ended up having a severe issue with an independent contractor seamstress the same week of my wedding (I know right) and Jenny swooped in saving the wedding day by giving her time & effort to make sure I had the ultimate bridal attire I looked beautiful in.I am forever grateful for Jenny as a hard-working business owner, she reminded me of the authenticity and kindness the wedding industry should be known for. My dress and veil looked perfect for my desert wedding and my photos (shot by It's Dope to Elope) are the proof of it!!

After searching several other stores, I found my dress at Freedom Brides. Jenny is so professional, knowledgeable of the business, and has the kindest heart! I felt so taken care of the moment I walked into the door. Jenny and her daughter Hannah helped me find my wedding dress and they made the process so FUN! I love their enthusiasm and genuine pure hearts. Jenny helped me get my dress ordered and altered the exact way I wanted it within my short timeline before my wedding. She is quick with responding to you and has great communication throughout every step of the process. I highly recommend getting your dress at Freedom Brides! They are worth the drive and you WILL NOT be disappointed!!!

I shopped here in October for a dress and didn't have the best experience. It wasn't poor, but it was definitely lack luster. When I arrived, the owner was in the middle of something which is absolutely totally fine. I own my own business and completely understand things running long or unexpected things happening. When she arrived and after we went over what I was wanting in a dress, the dresses the owner pulled were not what I was looking for. I understand her trying to get me into new things to try, but all the pulls were for dresses I specifically weren't looking for. She kept putting me in mermaids when I specifically said I didn't want a mermaid and wanted an a-line/ballgown. I feel like after I didn't like the first two fitted dresses, we should have moved on to what I really wanted. I don't mean this in a mean or harsh way, but the best way I can describe it was that she was almost pressuring me into a fitted dress that I did not want. She just seemed adamant that I should be in a mermaid because of my nice figure, which is very kind of her to say, but I just really didn't want one and didn't feel heard.I ended up trying on an a-line dress that I really liked and almost wanted which my mother actually found while the owner disappeared- which is my other complaint. She honestly didn't focus any of her attention on me at all and I felt very dismissed and overlooked. I know she did not do it on purpose and her intent was of course not to make me feel this way, but I honestly maybe spent all of 5 minutes with her for the 30+ minutes we were there. She kept disappearing and would pop her head in for a few seconds and then re-disappear. Again, I understand if she was busy that day, but then maybe book me for a time when you can actually keep your attention on me.Another complaint I had was their website says their dresses are very affordable and basically you don't have to pay a designer price for a designer dress, but all of the dresses I tried on had a hefty price tag. The two I liked the most, including the one I almost wanted, were above $3k. I'm not saying there weren't cheaper ones there, but none of the ones I tried on were, in my opinion, affordable. My mom, friend, and I ended up just leaving without really even saying goodbye because we couldn't find the owner again.
