I love the variety of organic foods and the vegetables and fruits are always fresh. I don't cook as often any more since all the kids are gone, so I enjoy the prepared foods like spinach lasagna, cauliflower enchiladas, chili.... I feel like I am eating fresh homemade food even if I'm not preparing it myself. I also like that I can buy chips without salt. The one negative I would say is if I can't find an item like red grapes and I ask a person if they have any, they always have this rote answer,"They are out of season". Well I'm not a fool; I know when foods are in season and out of season, so this is very insulting. It sounds like something the manager told them to say, and it has happened on more than one occasion. Once I went across the street to Vons and was able to buy the organic red grapes, so my advice would be to just tell the truth. People aren't stupid. ;-). But I love the store and the employees are generally very nice and helpful. The store is always very clean, too!

I often go to Jimbo's for lunch. Their food are delicious and healthy. I highly recommend to go there around 11:00 for lunch because hot food came out around that time. The longer hot food sit on the warmer, the dryer they get. It makes a huge difference for the taste and texture. They sometimes have extraordinary fruits. The mango they got from Florida during fall/winter was life-changing. (No kidding). It was so juicy, flavorful and it had smooth texture. I probably purchased 5 pieces each week during the season. Later on, they had some delicious tangerine. I normally didn't care for tangerine. But theirs were different. Very juicy. I kept eating one after another. They had kiwi berry for a while. I was so happy that I discovered kiwi berry. I love dairy products from STRAUS. Jimbo's carries the majority of their products. I like they sell things from local and small farm. Please keep finding unique, delicious and healthy produce for us.

I called the store asking for stinging nettles and a couple of people did not know if they had it. (I was thinking in my mind, uh maybe figure it out in case another customer asks) But thankfully an extremely hardworking nice employee named Debra Villa got on the phone and she went out of her way to help me!!! She told me exactly where it is located. I was so thrilled that she took the time to find out the answer for me and she was pretty quick getting back to me. I think she is a new employee too!

I always wondered about this store, so finally stopped by and never again! They must think they're Whole Foods because they're just as overpriced, if not more. Not worth the outrageous pricing so I'm sticking with Sprouts.

We love Jimbo's!! Fresh, local produce, an excellent deli and delicious salad bar! The staff is consistently friendly and there are frequently samples at this store - very fun to try new products.

They refused to give me caeser dressing for my salad. The lady told me to come back tomorrow if I wanted caesar. Then they refused to give me a fork and told me I had to go to the register. Rude and incompetent.

I had been looking forward to checking out Jimbo's (for my first time), and was disappointed. Things were high-priced, without the apparent corresponding quality. The store seemed dingy and was not particularly fun to shop in. Among other things, I bought a bag of peaches - which ended up costing $3.00 each. They were overripe and tasteless. I will not be returning.

Best place to shop for organic food. Best produce you will find. No apeel on the fruit. They have a excellent small bakery. The no flour chocolate cookie is to die for. Wonderful soups. You have to get there early otherwise it's gone. They don't bring out more.

More and more disappointed by the recent visits!I used to go there for lunch almost every weekday before 2019. They had so many options back then. All the hot food and soup tasted delicious. Now their food are so boring. And they didn’t follow their soup schedule. It says on the schedule that they would have beef and barley soup for Thursday. I went there for the soup on Thursday and they didn’t have it.Their staff used to be all very nice and helpful. Not the same anymore. I purchased lunch there today. And they normally have Ground Cayenne Pepper on the seasoning table for customers who purchased cooked food from them. They don’t have it today. I asked the staff at the juice bar next to the seating table. She told me to ask the staff at deli. I don’t want to leave my purchased food out there. Then I asked another staff who’s working with the carts next to me. He told me I should have asked the staff at the juice bar and she would get it for me. I told him that staff didn’t help and asked me to go to deli department. He looked confused and went to get the chilly for me. It was nice of him. But the first staff who’s supposed to help didn’t. Also their cashier used to be nice and greed to the customers. Now they just chat with each other.

Great place to shop for whole foods. It's a smaller store but has a variety of choices. I prefer to shop here than a Whole Foods Market. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

The only place in North County for real fresh organic locally sourced produce. The smoothie bar is a big bonus
