I came across this place by accident while on the way back from a work meeting. It's in the heart of the industrial park area in Scripps Poway and it looks a little commercial from the outside. The inside, however, is nicely decorated and clean with two levels of seating. You order at the cashier and the food is brought to your table. I had the Southern Fried chicken sandwich with a jalapeño slaw, a hazelnut mocha cream puff, and a cup of the green tea. The star was definitely the chicken sandwich. It was perfectly crispy and moist inside. The jalapeños in the slaw were mild and not overwhelmingly spicy, and the fries were crispy and not soggy. The hazelnut cream puff was good but there wasn't much of a hazelnut flavor. If it didn't have hazelnut in the description, I would've just thought it was a good mocha cream puff. I will definitely be coming back to try other things on the menu and more of the pastries in the display case.

The sourdough bread is so delicious! The garlic rosemary sourdough bread has so much flavor and pairs very nicely with balsamic vinegar. The pastries are also very good! Great hidden spot you should not pass on!

A little out of the way but that's probably a good thing because my gf who's lived in SR for quite a while hadn't been here or even heard of it! Service is almost always great and so is the food! Had the avocado toast trio! What a grand idea! Sorry no pics. Coffee was Yumm also!

This place is located with other office buildings, but you can't miss it. They do have a small parking lot, but there are plenty of street parking. They do have covered outdoor seating with no heaters. There's limited indoor seatings as well. You go inside to order first and they give out the number card for to place it on the table. Menu has breakfast options, sandwiches, soup, salad, beverages, and pastries. We've shared the cinnamon rolls and they were ok. It is big, but the gooey center that you want from the roll wasn't there. Their icing was alright too. The portion of their food is large. I've got the brioche breakfast sandwich and it was pretty basic. Comes with Eggs, bacon, cheese and greens. They also had this sauce which was creamy, I cannot tell what it was because it didn't really have much flavor. Brioche was on point though. Portions do make up for the price you pay for a basic breakfast.

Everything about this place is 5 stars. Theres often a line but it goes pretty fast and when you try their food, you'll understand why there's a line. Their coffee, their pastries, their food items, the overall ambiance, and their service are all awesome! Always get the best service when we come here. Today we tried their chocolate croissant and their blue berry cheesecake which was heavenly!! Not too sweet, none of the flavors were overly rich. Just decadent and delicious! They always have cute seasonal items and we love everything we have tried from here.

Got the short rib eggs Benedict and the serving size for everyone's plates was huge, favorite part was the crispy breakfast potatoes. Also got to try the cinnamon roll, definitely recommend getting it warmed. Took a cheese danish to go, it was so so good even the next day. They had indoor and limited outdoor seating, you order at the counter but they serve you the food.

Spent 40$ for three pastries and two drinks. Not worth your energy, the lines get pretty long and crowded. The pastries are nothing special and you can't tell a lavender from a horchata.

Found this gem while searching for a coffee joint in Poway. As I arrived there I wondered if they'd even be open on a weekend since they are surrounded by office building. They were not only open they had a line of customers waiting to place an order. Very clean place, nice indoor and outdoor seating areas, and many happy regular customer in line who were recommending various items. Their bread display and pastry items already had me excited. I got egg white omelette and a butter croissant. The latter was fluffy, flaky and mind blowingly amazing. The omelette and sides were enough for 2 and excellently prepared. The order came quickly despite the place being busy. Breakfast is all they do so they are open till 3pm. Will definitely be revisiting with family and friends.

Absolutely the best breakfast place in San Diego. Hands down. Always fresh baked pastries and the savory menu is equally outrageously good.
