After reviewing some of the comments that customers wrote about Orfila, it seems there's problematic service issues in this establishment! The venue was so inviting and enticing until we were helped by an individual on the 25 of February @1830 --he was very condescending at the register. The same individual who was rude and arrogant in telling us, "we are closed" (body language and facial expression summed it up) in layman's terms --get out! The same individual hovered and stood over my friends like they were little kids, drinking their juice boxes until it was "time" to collect their glasses (displaying a rude way of superiority)! Upset, I asked the individual and pointed out to other customer tables, "why don't you collect the empty glasses from their tables? No response! When asking for his name his response was, "I don't need to give that" --same response when asking for his managers name (in a patronizing manner)! Then it finally hit me after the treatment I received to include my friends, and the vibes I got from him--WE were treated some sort of way because we were not white! I am not that person to usually resort to thinking this is an issue, but it was clear as day what this individual was pulling! Again, I not the one to make this assumption, I have served my country for 20 plus years in the military, but it's truly sad that my friends and I felt the same way!

Decided to give Orfila a try, this review is based on the treatment we received from a particular worker who did not want to share his name with us when we asked. A group of us (about 7) were enjoying our frozen sangrias and making small talk at a table, the time was nearing to close and one of the workers approached our table to let us know we needed to leave. My friends and I still had a little left in our glasses so we told him we would wrap it up and started finishing our drinks. He then said we couldn't wrap it up and we needed to go now. My friends and I looked around and noticed there were a few other tables drinking their glasses and socializing, in which he did not approach. We were not the first table that he passed by either on his way to "close", the worker stood there at our table and stared us down, making it uncomfortable that we got up, and headed out. As we were passing the other tables he walked past them and didn't say a thing to them, my friends and I all noticed the difference in treatment, as we were the only minority group. We did mention to the management (assuming) before heading out and received a "we're sorry" --pretty much it. Safe to say I will NOT ever patronize Ofilia's, they are unwelcoming. My friends and I often explore wineries in the area, and can positively say you are better off at Mia Marie's, Cordiano's, and Speckle Rock which are all sooooo much more WELCOMING of all!

The wine is delicious and the kids area is awesome for families. One of my favorite spots now to wind down after a long day.

Wonderful vineyard in Escondido. Very close to The Welk Resort. Very good wine and nice selection of charcuterie if you need a snack. Highly recommend it.

Celebrating my friend's birthday at this winery was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was lively, perfect for catching up over glasses of exquisite wine. The staff's warmth and expertise elevated every sip, making the experience truly delightful. I left feeling thoroughly content and happy. And let's talk about that view--breathtaking doesn't even begin to cover it! A truly wonderful day in every way possible.

Management is rude. Wine is over-priced and not great, we read reviews saying it was family friendly and we were asked to leave with our 8 y/o son who was sitting & reading. Not the most welcoming place to enjoy a glass of wine

This review is for the Owl Club that we've been members of for many years. We are a part of the quarterly three bottle option. We get the whites. We initially started with the "mixed" bottle option. Back then that usually meant we got two whites and one red. Not a one white one rosé and one red combination. To me that would've made more sense. With our whites we've also got a rosé in our pick ups. To me three whites would = white. For quite some time the prices have been crawling up and up but here's the thing....That would be fine if the quality matched the price. We used to pay 75 ish for our three bottles of their choosing. I've spoken to Eric about this way before pandemic~~when I've asked to swap a bottle for a lesser value that we liked better and or a bottle that was a bit more costly and we'd pay the difference if we could simply please just trade out our least favorable bottle~~that was included in our membership. For example they used to have two kinds of gewürztraminer a suss (sweet) and a trocken (dry) & I'd get my least favorite (trocken) in my pick up. They had a Chardonnay and an Ambassador Chardonnay. I'd get the regular instead of my ambassador preference. You get the point. The business doesn't "allow" trade outs but I was pretty insistent and sometimes they'd let me trade it. But there was still much resistance on their part. This last pick up my whites ended up being $120 And the Chardonnay is a 52 dollar bottle! 120 is the highest we've ever paid. The wine has been so tart in our pick ups and often we say: Why don't we experience this same amount of tart or acidity when we visit onsite for our free tastings or glass of wine!?! I'm trying the Chardonnay 2022 Bien Nacido Old Vine and it's sooo acidic and in my opinion is definitely not worth 52. If I had this at a restaurant I would turn it away! I'm aware there is a one bottle ~ once a month option but we're not interested in that club membership at this time. We've considered canceling our membership several times. Mainly because the acidity has ruined our experience, cost dramatically has been increasing, & because of certain pushbacks & attitudes from staffers when we kindly make reasonable suggestions as a consumer. We like the environment and certain food vendors/food trucks, meeting with friends and or hearing a live band on the patio.

Wonderful rich red wines, and dark sumptuous beers. We enjoyed the Big meat flatbread and delicious lamb chops. Chef Luke suggested the Petite Madeline's seasonal dessert, Chocolate ganache with pumpkin souffle topped with chocolate and powdered sugar. It was delicious and beautiful. The service was great. A must for Oceanside...

What a special place tucked in the rolling California hills. My friends are members at Orfila and they come all the time so I was happy to experience it finally! The property itself is really special. The wine was good, the member deals were awesome. If you live in the area I highly recommend checking out their member deals. There isn't service outside so we had to buss our own glasses and go in to order but we made it work. Looks like a great space for a wedding or event venue as well! Stunning.

Great foods and services. The sunset was beautiful. Not far from San Diego. The pizza and spaghetti was amazing.
