They never take more than 1 or 2 items, even when you bring clothes on the list of items they want. The store smelled heavily perfumed, like they had just sprayed all of the racks with the strongest scent. I noticed several items with deodorant stains, grease stains, and holes while browsing. Clothes on their racks are definitely not "in style." I've been shopping and selling at Plato's for years, but I don't see a point anymore.

So many young kids work here and are always in a bad mood. Why hire kids that don’t want to work here. And the prices went up as well ! This location needs a lot of work.

don’t bring a lot of clothes to sell, god forbidden you bring more than two grocery sized bags and they just won’t even look through them. some of the girls there are so nice but they’re very few and far between. most of the time the employees seem inconvenienced by your presence or straight up ignore you. half the clothes are cute, others look like they came from ross in 2014. prices are decent

I had a bad experience this morning. Service was never the strong point, what could you expect from a lot of teenagers getting minimum wage? So apparently they have new management, new sales computer system and new employees. With the transition of systems, my points just disappeared. But that is not the worst. This guy I suppose a manager was really rude. When checking for my profile, I give him my name, Daniela. He then calls me sir! After a second time he called me sir, I said "I'm not a sir". He didn't even look at me but at least said I'm sorry. As he was talking to one of the employees, he referred to me as "him". After finishing my purchase, I went to him and said "you should be more careful with pronouns and how you address people, because after telling my female name and correcting you, you still called me sir". He was on the counter, looking at the computer and didnt even move his eyes. I asked "Are you going to ignore me?" he then gave a smirk and looked at me, still didn't say anything. I got really upset, said "wow, great management" and walked away. He just kept the smirk and watched me leave.Horrible experience.

I have always enjoyed coming here but the past few couple times I’ve came have been very unwelcoming, the customer service has definitely changed. When you come and go no one greets you or anything like they would before, and when I asked for a fitting room a worker named Priscilla walked up, didn’t say anything to me and opened the fitting room door and walked away to keep chatting with her coworkers. I understand it’s a more relaxed store but the friendliness and professionalism from before is gone and makes this place give a snooty vibe now. Very disappointed.

We took a whole bag of clothes & one pair of shoes. They only took the shoes & gave us a measly $15. Shoes were new Nikes & costed nearly $200, so we're very disappointed. Service was also sub par. I gave an extra star for their clothing selection & prices, which were actually pretty good.

Some things here are pricey here but Arar is the nicest employee I’ve come across at this place, do not fire her!

I drove 35 mins for them to take nothing. I brought 5 bags of cloths were lots of them still had tags and were higher brands barely used. When I got the bags you could tell they weren't even looked through. Seems like there too lazy to look through the cloths people are bringing in. They said to me they wouldn't take it because of wear, but all the cloths looked brand new so I'm just confused. Every time I go in here the staff just seems to be a bunch of young little girls who don't want to do anything. Do not recommended coming here to sell yours cloths. I will just be taking it to good will where people will appreciate the nice cloths.

I went to Plato's with an entire bin packed with clothes and I waited an hour and a half for them to take zero pieces. It was a 30 minute drive from my house so it wasn't worth going back and forth so because of that I stayed during the hour and half just browsing their selection. The place was extremely disorganized, overcrowded, and messy. I found multiple pairs of jeans that had stains in the inside. Many tank tops with deodorant stains all over. And t-shirts with huge orange foundation stains all over the collar. I wanted to try on a couple shorts and I waited by the dressings rooms and no one came to help me. So I asked the front where the girl just ignored me and looked to her other co-worker. The entire time I was there i revived no help or costumer service. And the girl who did my clothes was extremely rude to me. The pieces I had in my bin were wild and fable (Target), Banana Republic, Levi, and some other randoms. They ended up saying the reason why they didn't take my clothes was because it was "12 months out of style" and that it "needed to be re-laundered" which upset me because I had washed and steamed all the pieces before coming in because the place I went before said there couldn't be any wrinkles. The entire duration of my shopping a recording comes over the intercom to say how it's important to recycle your clothes so they don't end up in the landfill and to help the environment. I was extremely disappointed that they turned away many pieces of clothes that were warn only once or twice that could've gone to a low income family in need who can't afford name brand or store bought clothes.

I recently purchased a pair of lululemon leggings and when I got home and tried them on, there was a HUGE tear all across the knee- I've purchased other leggings from here that were damaged at seams but nothing as bad and as obvious as this I called and explained how they still have their original tag, as well as the credit card I purchased it with but wasn't able to find the receipt in the bag they gave me!I was hoping I could still return them or even get store credit, as they were the ones who bought put damaged merchandise out on the floor for purchase I definitely wish I had tried them on there but didn't have time so thought I would just do it at home. They said there's nothing they can do without a receipt, not even store credit if I bring back their damaged goods they sold! Honestly just super bummed they sold very damaged and unfixable merchandise- and bummed they weren't willing to help out in fixing the mistake!

I have been a customer at this store location in the past and it was good, BUT my most recent experience has been trash. I brought in my items to be sold and was told “you’re second in line and will take about 20-30 minutes”. Okay, that sounds about right. I looked around the store and usually by the time I am done browsing, so is the buyer who looks through my things. 30 minutes passed by and my stuff was untouched. Okay. A total of 45 minutes now passed by and again, none of my stuff was accessed. I approached the counter and asked for an update and the young girl working with no eye contact replies, “yeah I am going to work on it right now.” I walked around the plaza. Now, I am waiting in my car and I noticed other sellers who came in AFTER me were bringing out their laundry baskets and trash bags of clothes. And I confirmed this because I asked one of the sellers if their stuff was looked at it and she replied yes. I am obviously upset at this point. I went in the store again, at this time, It’s been over 1.5 hours since I dropped off my stuff and the buyer was actually and physically accessing my items this time. We did the exchange and after the transaction, I requested to speak to the person in charge-it was the buyer and her name tag said “Team Lead”. I respectfully suggested not to quote people a “30 minute wait time” if they are going to take hours, the team lead/buyer instantly got offended, again no eye contact, speaking over me, and very dismissive about my concern and started making excuses about “short staffed, it got busy, you could come back before 9pm to pick up your stuff or in 24 hours, etc.” My simple suggestion they should be real and tell people it will take 2-3 hours so they don’t wait around “30 minutes” and waste their time, MY time.I will not be doing my business here again. The place has changed like everyone said. I read the reviews after my recent experience and they are unfortunately all true.Beware to those who are still trying to sell here and them quoting you “20-30 minutes”. Don’t hold your breath.

This specific location really needs leadership support. There were only 3, 16/17 yr olds behind the counter which were not trained or mature enough to handle a Saturday night environment. I waited in line for 27 minutes to check out, but there were only 6 people in front of me the whole time. 27 minutes. Let that sink in. There was no understanding of priorities or efficiency and at one point one of the male employees let one of his friends cut in line to check out her clothes which almost made everybody start a riot. The floor was completely trashed with clothes and was very disgusting. Just wish they had an adult to help them manage the place with more respect for their individual business and for their customers.
