Pedicure excellent, manicure horrible. Not coming back

My daughter thought she found the perfect nail salon because of what she heard about it. Turns out her second time there, Pretty Nails, turned into Pretty Painful Nails. She ended up with a cut and an infection with a horrible job done. She mentioned that it was painful especially when it came to cleaning up her cuticles and removing her previous color as it was done improperly. My daughter was recommending this place to her friends after her first visit. She even grabbed some business cards in the beginning of her second visit to distribute, but put back after the experience. There are more details to this horrific appointment gone wrong such as they made her wait a long time even though she had an appointment and other patrons had to as well as they are short-staffed. They continued to tell people that they could fit them in just to have them wait as well while complaining at the same time. I apologize for the bad review, but I thought the public should know. Hopefully, they will improve their business practices in the future.

I love them. Ive been going to places that upsell me up the ying and I hate it. Theyre honest, the massages are superb and they have a legit gel color selection. This place is not about the ambiance..its about the location and service. Youre right on Grand where you can walk somewhere to grab some eats,go to the little shops and naughty book stores, or gelato. There's parking. If you need AC..not for you. They have fans for a nice breeze and It was just right. Check the pics. They are from 2 separate visits. The service is consistent...busy or not, they do good qork and.take their time.

The pedicure was great. Had a daddy daughter date. Great message chair. Went with the shea butter and sea salt. Had callouses removed and she got all my hang nails cleaned up. Pedicure = 4 stars
WE arrived on time for OUR appointment and got going since we were on a time crunch. Then all these all people came and we just got shuffled around to accommodate them. In the end my daughter was late and her manicure was rushed. She had to have it redone the next day. I should have followed the recommendations of others. Sloppy and not good on the manicure = 1 star

Horrible! Went here out of desperation. They were open late and I was leaving for vacation the next morning. My daughter had gone the day before for the $20 pedicure. She said it was not the best but it would do for our trip. You get what you pay for should be the name of this place! I should have paid my 4 year old grandson to paint my toes. I should have walked out as soon as I looked at the polish bottles on the wall. They were dusty and most of them had separated from lack of use. The lady who did my pedi had to pry the top off the bottle of the color I chose. If I had to guess they probably have had those same bottles of polish for at least 5 years. Now for my nails ...... I asked if they could do just a natural pink powder with a glitter tip. Pretty standard now a day. She kept telling me to pick a color. I kept trying to explain that I didn't want color just powder. I even had an inspo pic. She said she had pink powder and the glitter so I reluctantly agreed. The second she started applying the powder, I said "that's not pink" she said "yes wait till dry." I decided to look away because my anxiety had kicked in and I needed to calm myself down. Then the filing begins and let me just say HOT MESS. Every nail was a different length and shape. It took all my strength not to sob. I ended up guiding her through fixing each nail. I haven't been this upset because of my nails in years! Just lack of experience here and old expired product. The picture is 4 days later. They have turned yellow and lifted. I can not wait to get these off !

Chris is so nice and he did a great job. He’s so interesting. I enjoyed talking with him throughout my appt. It was my first time, so hopefully, I still feel the same the 2nd time around.

Everyone was really nice and soft spoken. I was able to get a walk in, waiting about 15 mins, but they do only have 3 people working there in a Saturday. My pedicure was lovely :)

This place is horrible. They used a used towel to do my nails. I specifically told them I wanted a clear coat and I specially told them no gel or polish just a clear coat and they ended up doing gel. The towel my mom put her feet on was dirty as well and left residue on the bottom of her feet. And the person who did my sisters nails cut all of her nails way too short, to the point her some of nails were bleeding. I've been trying to grow my nails out and they cut all of my nail off and all the progress. My moms toes had 3 air bubbles and just a clump of nail polish on her toe. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Never coming here again.
