I visited the 200 E Via Rancho Pkwy, Ste 227, Escondido, CA 92025 on 1/20/2024 to return a pair of sunglasses.I had purchased the sunglasses on 12/23/2024, and I want to highlight that I have never worn them. The sunglasses are in impeccable condition, and I have the original box and sunglass carrier, ensuring that everything is in its original packaging.To my surprise, the store associate, informed me that the return couldn't be accepted due to a supposed scratch on the sunglasses. When I asked her to show me the scratch, she contradicted herself, stating there was no scratch but a dot on the lens. I am perplexed by this inconsistency and find it unfair that my return is being rejected for an issue that seems to be non-existent.I have been a loyal Sunglass Hut customer for years and this experience has left me disappointed. I believe in the quality of your products and the customer service that Sunglass Hut is known for.

We have the same problem as these other reviews, can't return due to "scratches" that we didn't do it because it came out from the box that way and were never worn. We have been buying sunglasses from this store for a long time, even when we don't need them. I have purchased 2 pair of Maui Jim's and 1 pair of Oakley's while my wife has purchased 1 pair of Gucci, 1 pair of Versace and 1 pair of Ray Ban. We went in a few weeks ago and tried on some new sunglasses. We liked a Maui Jim for me and a Gucci for my wife but we didn't want to take the display pair so we ordered new ones to be shipped to our house, at the recommendation of the staff. The box arrived undamaged and the glasses appeared fine as well. When my wife tried on hers, they didn't look like they did in the store so she wanted to return them. She placed them back in the packing that they arrived in and, when time allowed, she went to return them. She handed them to the clerk who took them and "cleaned" them and heated them to try and get them to fit better. When my wife still didn't like them, they wouldn't take them back because there was a mysterious scratch on one of the lenses! They said, since we purchased the insurance, we could pay the $40 to have the lens repaired then we could exchange them. What kind of crap is that?!?! We didn't scratch them! They must have come from the factory that way because it didn't happen in our house. It might have happened when the guy took the glasses, heated them up to bend them and scratched them himself. With this many people complaining about scratches and not the store not taking them back, someone else needs to know. I intend on writing to the Corporate office so they know how these stores are abusing their name. This is not okay. These glasses aren't cheap. They need to fix their process.

I had the worst experience there today! I bought a pair of $300 Prada sunglasses yesterday (9/29/22) And that night I was looking closely at them and the Prada logo on the glasses were scratched when I bought them. I decided to take it to the store the day after I bought them because if I waited any longer I would not want them to think it was used or not in good condition because of me. I decide to bring it in today (9/30/22) and this woman working there at 2pm, she let me return them but she was like, "Oh...so your not going to exchange for anything" in kind of a rude manner, and i was telling her that actually I decided to buy 2 other pairs on the website, and she asked me to pull up my order on my email??? Why do I need to show you proof that I bought two other sunglasses online?? How is that relevant to my return?? If she was asking to see if they had it in store she could of said it, but just said "can u pull up your order". Also I asked her if she had a specific pair sunglasses in person so I could see any other colors if they had it and see if they looked good on my face frame, she proceeds to answer, "so your just going to try them on? not buy?" I was like completely thrown off by her, like I just asked because on your website it said it was not sold at that store, but if there was a chance it was in the store see it in person I would like to see it. I show her a picture and shes like yeah we have those and shows me a totally different pair than the picture...I'm like those are these ones? And shes like yeah those are the ones, and the shape of frame were completely different than the picture...I was like it looks so different, shes proceeds to say "Yeah pictures are never going to be the same in person, they are always different" I understand that but decided to go on the Website tonight and actually saw the pair she said "Were the ones I bought" and they were not the ones I ordered...they honestly probably get commission for every pair of sunglasses they sell and are trying just to have anyone make any purchase even if what they saying is not ethical..

Visited a Sunglass Hut at Macy's in Fox Valley Mall, Aurora, IL and met an exceptional sales associate named RADHIKA POMAL!!! I'm a "professional shopper" and a sales associate makes a difference in your shopping. I was looking for Gucci sunglasses and tried on many styles. RADHIKA has 20+ years of eyewear experience and her assistance was extremely valuable, and I genuinely respected her opinion. I found the perfect pair of Gucci aviators and felt as if I had been shopping with a frIend. She was joyful, patient and her assistance. was extremely helpful. RADHIKA POMAL is a definite asset to the Sunglass Hut family.

My best friend and I purchased sunglasses here after walking around and looking at many choices at the mall. The staff was very helpful and even gave us a great discount. He helped us with the nose piece for our frames and answered all of our questions. I will return again in the future.

Just bought brand new $300 sunglasses when going home I noticed the leg of the sunglasses was scratched up. I came back to store to exchange for the same exact pair since they sold me defective sunglasses and they refused to return even though I had the receipt and box/lens cleaner. Claimed "not perfect" condition even though they sold it to me like this. Will never purchase another pair from sunglass hut, nor will my friends/family/coworkers. I work retail so I'm disappointed in how they handled this situation.

If possible, I do not check even one starBad experience not at all easy returns ٫ There is a woman named Perla who is a real liar who is very indifferent to answering the customer and only makes you angry and even when she realizes that you are not American, she behaves very inappropriately and tries carelessly. Can only repeat one word. Even more angrily, I thought she might be racist. You never saw her in the eyewear store, never trust her because she saw that the glasses that were actually molded on us were broken, but she avoided taking them back, and overall I had the worst shopping experience with Ms. Perla. And I will never trust her to buy again????
