Today was a huge disappointment! I purchased a pair of Rowan 2 shoes at the UTC store. When I enteted the store, the sales associate was laying across a table of clothes. He could not look up from his phone to greet me or offer any help. I ended up with the wrong size shoes. I called the Escondido store to ask if I could return the shoes. The sales associate answered the phone, "ya." When I asked if the shoes could be returned to a different location than purchased, his response was, "ya, I guess." Come on, Van's! Do better! I will NOT be purchasing anything from either of those locations again!

Went in to the store to change out a pair of shoes for a different size and was met with the most pleasant and happy workers. I will forever go to this store now!!! They were so helpful!!!

I came in looking for a shoe and there was a nice employee who helped me right away! The shoes are more affordable than I expected...still pricey, don't get me wrong. The clothes, although also pricey, are very cute and stylish. If I could, I would buy everything in this store.

I placed an order online for same day pickup and i still had to call to make sure they did pick it out. After being on the phone amd explaining to the employee I was heading over to pick up my online prder he kept telling me to go to the store pick out the shoes and they would refund me the online order. Finally they pick my order and I show up to the store and they make me wait about 25 minutes because they are looking for my order and they tell me we don't have your order I told the girl I was on the phone when they told me it was ready so she finally finds it and I open the box to make sure eveything is good and the box had a pair of used shoes it was the worst and nastiest thing I've ever experienced the shoes were dirty in the inside and all dirty from the bottom totally use I was able to get an exchange but all I received from the employees was a sorry that wasn't meaningful they gave me the worst customer service I will never go back here.

Staff are great and very helpful. Shoes are a lot of fun. Very exciting patterns and works of art. Very much enjoy their limited editions.

Can't go wrong with vans. Customer service is always on point with kindness and help. The store itself is always clean which is probably hard to keep up because the store is always packed. Maybe the weekdays are better but overall... you get in and out in a timely manner.

Just want to give an amazing thank you to Nick!!! He was extremely fantastic! What a great costumer service ability. He was super cool, helpful, he was able to locate in a different store the right size for the model we wanted. Hw helped us choose the right shoes! He was a pro about the description and history of each design and how the shoes are made, from the sole to the Inserts of the shoes, who designed it and what was the inspiration on each design, lot of info but he made it fun and easy to listen to it. Not sure how else I could express how impressed we were. Top notch!!!! Will definitely go back there.

Employees were super helpful and patient with my 5 kids and I as we kept running her back and forth for sizes helping the kids put their shoes on and letting me know how to correctly fit vans on their little feet. We will definitely be back!

Awful employee conduct. Last week while my husband was on leave before his upcoming deployment, him and I went into this location to get new shoes for him. As we were checking out, we were deciding whether or not to use cash or card because our cards chip hadn't been working. We asked about their military discount, and the girl at the register needed her manager to do it for her. However her manager refused to give us the discount unless the cash or card came out of the wallet that my husband was holding, and said he wouldn't do it until I put my wallet back in my purse and that he needed to watch us pay, and that I couldn't hand my husband any cash. He even asked me "okay well who's money is that?" Referring to what was in my wallet when I tried to hand cash to my husband because the chip on his card doesn't work. Its our money, we share an account, we're married! It's a 10%, or in this case $5 discount. This manager was incredibly rude, created a scene, embarrassed us, and was wildly aggressive and disrespectful. We were told we couldn't use cash because it came from my wallet and I handed it to my husband so it wasn't his money. the only working chip card we had was a credit card so we had to use that. Annoying. We kind of laughed it off at the time for how dramatic this man was, but honestly it's annoying the kind of treatment an active duty service member gets just for $5 off some overpriced shoes.

Went to do some Christmas shopping about 15 minutes before closing time. This is the 3rd or 4th time here. The employees are trained right and always work hard and fast. We needed two pairs for family and they had both in stock and even offered to lace them both up. Then they had a free giveaway of a snow globe and my daughters LOVED them! We were in and out and had time for our last stop at Gamestop before the whole mall closed. THANK YOU to the whole staff here! They work great together as a team! I help run a small business and other store managers should observe what goes on here so they can train their people to be efficient like the Van's team!
