I started my shopping early today- around 0930ish. I wanted fried chicken. I went to 2 other grocery stores only to arrive to no fried chicken so I left both stores. I was driving past this particular Vons and I opted to stop in. I was THRILLED when I walked in and saw fresh fried chicken this early in the morning! The gal who helped me with the chicken at the deli counter was awesome! And I also have to give recognition to Stephanie the cashier/checker, as she was a ray of sunshine too! Perhaps I will shop at this location more often!

All 3 staff members I interacted with refused to assist me for a single item. They refused to do the bare minimum. Save your time, money and patience and go to a better store such as Trader Joe's CVS or Ralph's.

I don't normally waste my time writing bad reviews but I can't keep quiet about this. My first experience with this location was the loooong loooong lines and the numb bodies known as cashiers. I was checking out one day when my daughter noticed that one of our yogurts that was just rung up had fallen on the floor. When I brought this to the attention of the cashier her attitude was " I really don't care" . I then asked excuse me could you please look on the floor ? She took one step back and looked the other way. Frustrated by this I just wanted to pay and leave the store. Until I decided to count the yogurts that I was charge for and what was in my bag. No surprise 1 was missing. Thankfully the young man bagging my groceries quickly wanted to make thing right went to get another one from the shelf. In the meantime I requested to speak with a store manager. Thinking I could shed some light on good customer service I soon realized I was speaking to someone who showed no interest in what I was saying. On another occasion I had purchases some cottage cheese that has the lid cut open with a box cutter and my 3rd time I had grocery items thrown all I. 1 bag smashing bread and heavy items on top of a yogurt that broke open . Each time talking to the same store manager who clearly lacks customer service skills. The store is a direct reflection of the manager who over see it. The over flowing trash cans and employees who smoke at the tables directly outside of the front doors is disgusting! There is only one cashier working during the weekday afternoons. The line is 6-8 people long to check-out. Otherwise, one must use the self-check-out kiosks. I think they are trying to get rid of the checkers. Sad.

This Vons store on Felicita has the rudest employees in any grocery store I have been in, especially Asst Mgr Maya. Don't know if they all hate their jobs or what. But be sure not to ask for help on anything. Regularly run out of sale items, under staff check out lines and stock on Saturdays when they are busiest. Erik Ross-if you read this, please take it to heart.

Service deli knocked it out of the park! I recently had Vons prepare a catering order for a large event. They were phenomenal! Sally, Sandy and Anthony made the process of ordering, paying, changing the order (I decided to add to the order last minute), and picking up the order sooooo easy and friendly. Anthony even loaded my car for me! They went above and beyond. I highly recommend this location for deli service because of this team of incredibly helpful and kind people. I think its very clean & has a great selection/variety of food. Sales are great. Theres a handful of cashiers/shift managers that are down right rude. They would rather talk to each other & get annoyed when asked a question or needing assistance. They dont like helping with money orders either. Mayra is so rude. Shes a shift manager. Why work with the public then? A few other cashiers are also just super rude. Ive walked out twice extremely disappointed. There are employees that are so nice. Brendan (spelling) hes so nice. He worked at another location, W El Norte before this one. Friendly & helpful. I think hes one of the managers there. There is a nice lady that works in the bakery department (forgive me for not remembering your name) she has a French accent I believe. Shes so amazing- shes so helpful. Most are nice but the handful that are mean & rude make me not want to return. If I do go in there- I will stay clear away from the mean ones. We all have bad days however this is many times- not just with me many other customers. See for yourself - shop there....Over time, you'll see what I mean. The mean employees should take a trip across the street to Trader Joe's to learn how to treat customers. ALWAYS, ALWAYS friendly. Every single employee at Trader Joes has always been friendly. I wanted to contact Vons directly but now a days you get a bot asking about your online order! I don't us online crap or insta cart or grub hub. I worked for the grocery business for 15 years including Safeway in Northern California so their is a reason I shop union stores it helps give you hours keep the doors open for us to shop I don't use the self check out because I am going to promote getting rid of humans!! Some people should not be in customer service positions, some people have bad moments so this is my 10th Saturday and now I am gonna say something! Alicia should probably get some customer feed back you are rude you check stand is f-ing gross disgusting covered with milk and sticky stuff. Today I tried one more time to get a fragment of joy or even something out of her. Hi how are you today, has it been busy today? Thank you so much have a good day! I got a hi so you need a bag and here with the receipt! Today I had a courtesy clerk at the end I had my bag because I was gonna bag my stuff he basket reach over like are you gonna give it to me I smile and said oh here. He started putting my cherries grapes and other vegetables in and I said oh wait can you put the 16oz Pepsi on first and then the vegetables on top. He hot breath and I said thank you he smirks like I was so annoying but really where were you gonna put my Pepsi? On top of the heirloom tomato or my cherries? I even said have a good day to him he didn't say anything. Said something rude and have no problem being that b**** when I walk in but I appreciate people who come to work and work the hard hours of the grocery business. Like is to short to always be negative or snapping at people or being a b**** so I don't want to be that way. Only other thing it could be-maybe I'm not the complexation she prefers helping. I don't know but I can spend my money elsewhere there are 5 other Vons/Albertsons in the area

Food is going to be expensive no matter where you go these days. You get kick backs for gas if you purchase groceries here. Need I say more. You need both items to survive.

Cashiers here are so rude !!! Was just getting trying to a get money order and I asked this lady who works there and she nicely said yea I'll have someone get with you right now , and the other cashier lady very rudely says "the lady went on lunch it's gunna be a while " l said ok like how long ? She then doesn't answer me . She doesn't even offer to have someone else help , just not her problem right ? I don't know pretty rude to me I immediately left because it was clear I wasn't going to be helped .

This could possibly, go down as the worst experience I've ever had with a business. Here's what happened. Had people coming over for Monday Night Football. My wife was making dinner for our guests, and I was busy getting the backyard ready. I ordered groceries to be delivered, as we had no drinks for our guests (we know one guy only drinks Coke Zero or Sunny D, so that was part of our order). I was given the option of paying $4 for deliver within a 4 hour window, or $9 for one hour. I opted for the one hour. Guess what? After an hour and a half, I was concerned. After two hours, I reached out. They said it was on the way. Another hour, nothing. Another hour, nothing. I'd occasionally call and be told things like "They were busy, but it's on it's way."My guests left at 10 p.m. and the deliver I made for 3 p.m. never arrived. I called again, and was given the run-around. Then the machine wanted me to do a survey. The options? If I'm satisified, press 1. Otherwise, hang up. Really, those two options? How about...I'm not satisified???The next morning I contacted them again and they said my order was still in their store, and that's not normal, they informed me (which is odd, considering last night they said it was "on its way" which would indict it wasn't still in the store). They asked if I still wanted it, or if I wanted a refund. I said "Refund." They also said something about "DoorDash having problems" and I had to tell them, I used the VONS app, not DoorDash. The refund -- wasn't the full amount, so I had to call back and spend another 30 minutes on the phone, with 3 different people, that didn't know what was going on or how to resolve the problem.Guys, if you can't run your delivery service properly, don't offer it. That was a joke, and the worst service I've had from ANY BUSINESS in my life. I had guests, and couldn't have the proper drinks I wanted to serve.I can't says I'm never going to go there again, as I need groceries, and it's the closest VONS to me. The one on Camino Del Sur is always excellent, and I often go there after work. I'll probably have to stick to that location.

Martha the cashier was in a horrible mood and treated so many customers poorly today. Went in to grab some rotisserie chicken and she gave me attitude because I asked her for help at the self-check out. She then asks for ID from two young men who were only getting a protein shake. If you're the manager of this place, please give her her annual review early. I'm disappointed in her customer service.
