Pretty cool shop. I'd go here weekly if I lived in the area. It's much nicer and organized than it was when I went my first time years ago.

My husband especially loved this place. It’s not a “quaint boutique”, nothing curated here. It’s a true junk-shop, and that’s the beauty of it. Im pretty sure, if you had the time, you’d be able to find one of everything in this shop. It really is like fun treasure hunt.

Love this store! Walking through the place is like going back in time! I could be in the store for hours just looking at everything! I just love Anglin’s Second Hand Shop! Full of wonderful treasures!

This is probably the coolest , and sketchiest antique store in the county. First of all, it's one of the last in the county, but it's a cross between a thrift junk store and an antique store. This is a frequent place for homeless and tweakers, but they usually leave you alone if you don't engage them. The prices are ridiculous But how else would they stay in business . Very interesting stuff , if you can get past the smell of stale weed and coughing homeless folks. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for something specific because they have all kinds of weird old stuff .

Was looking for old skeleton keys. Called, was told they had a box full. Drove to Anglin Second Hand & was told they didn't have any skeleton keys. The person behind the counter didn't even bother to look around or ask another employee.Anglin's is not a neat, tidy, well organized, well displayed store. The glass counter cases are piled, crammed & stuffed with merchandise. Not everything is easy to see.I honestly believe it was a good possibility they did have a box full of skeleton keys buried or hidden under something else that might not have been in plain sight. Unfortunately the employee didn't bother to do anything more than quickly inform me they didn't have any skeleton keys, didn't have a clue who told me they had a box full on the phone & had no interest following up or inquiring with other employees.

Very eclectic store. Shelves and floor space over flowing with items. The clutter has been reduced since the last time I was here. Antiques, firearms, miscellaneous items, furniture, books, CDs, VHS tapes, and more

This store is really neat and has all kinds of unique stuff from books to antique tools and furniture. If you have something specific you need or are just looking to browse it is definitely worth checking out. I was helped by Jennifer who was very helpful and professional. They also have a shelf of free books at the front which is worth checking out!

We lost a cheap, albeit important bookshelf during a recent earthquake. I found a beautiful, solid wood one at Anglin Second Hand. She gave me a post Christmas special of 50% off and graciously agreed to hold it for a week while I found transportation. I called as soon as I found a handyman to pick it up and the young lady on the phone quickly confirmed our info and had it ready for him as soon as he arrived! My late dad loved their store and now I can see why, their awesome and unique treasures are almost as awesome as their kind & professional staff! I highly recommend Anglin!!!

Interesting store. Not a charity, so has guns and other things you never see at the chains. Extensive junk collection that does gradually sells. Almost a dangerous density of stuff makes seeing everything difficult. Barrels and boxes of unsorted unpriced estate dregs at times. Dusty digs. Occasionally a treasure comes and goes, according to staff. Always tools and hardware to look through. Not much clothing, thankfully. Worth an occasional walk through.

Hands down the best secondhand store I've ever been to. We call it "hoarders paradise" because that's kind of what it is. It reminds me so much of my grandparents' house in some ways, in that it is full wonderful weird old treasures, antiques, tools, kitchen gadgets, literally everything including the kitchen sink. And they usually have different items each week - it's a great place to go for random little household needs, or for specific collections. Anglins is a must-visit if you come through Eureka.

The place can be messy, but that's only because they have so much stuff. I have never bought anything here that didn't work as expected. Overall the prices range from outstanding, like my $6000 leather couch that I got for $150, or just fair prices like a $50 Coleman white gas stove. Definitely one of the Humboldt county gems, and I'm sad that I probably won't be able to replace this shop when I move.

I bought a used microwave here for 13 bucks in 2017. 5 years and it's still holding strong. This place rocks!!

Long live Anglin's Second Hand, the greatest junk store in the West. There's only one place where you can buy coffins, souvenir HSU stone trash cans, airport walk-through metal detectors, enough books on guns to end up on a watch list, stand-up arcade games, and used furniture! I'm literally typing this on a couch I purchased from Anglin's.

Packed to the brim! All kinds of stuff you need days of extra time just to look around the store! Guns too!

Jennifer Anglin, is a lier and a thief. Be Very careful when dealing with her. She does Not tell the truth. I had dealings with her she bought several old steamer trunks from me but magically didn't have her checkbook but promise to send me the check immediately. So after week of no check I called to follow-up. Oh so sorry got very busy it went out Friday (a week late) when the check did arrive. She short changed me. I called 11 times to the store to get the balance. Jennifer was never available to take my call and never returned it either. On top of this i gave her an entire pickup truck load of tools, garden tools, etc. And still she had to steel from me.Very sad and pathetic that she's of such low moral character I certainly learned my lesson dealing with her. Never again.I was warned about both Jennifer and her uncle but ignored the warning much to my dismaySo for any of you proceed with caution and get Everything in writing.
