Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience everything this hotel has to offer due to vehicle troubles that put us four hours behind schedule. We checked in at 11 P.M. The hotel is beautiful! Our room was nice and comfortable for a one-night stay. I used the gym, which has a massage chair in it. They had a good variety of equipment.Complimentary breakfast had a pancake and waffle maker. Not much in the protein department for healthy options, but they at least had boiled eggs. There were lots of fruit, cereal, frozen breakfast sandwiches (Jimmy Dean) options. There is a hot tub also that looked awesome, but we had to get on the road. The only issue I had was the the key card didn't open the area you need to get to breakfast, the hot tub, and the gym. It opened the gym, but then when I tried to go back in after I ate, it stopped working and stopped working on my room. Luckily, the second key did work.Otherwise, nice quiet area of town and only a few minutes away from the Redwood Sky Walk at Sequoia Park Zoo.

We were excited about staying here. Check in was great. But all that ended when we entered our room. The room had problems. First of all they sprayed some sort of air freshener in the room. It caused me to have a horrible asthma attack and then itchy eyes all night. The TV signal was not great. There were channels with such bad signal they were unwatchable. The worst thing though was the fact that the coffee service set up was in the bathroom. I’m hard pressed to imagine any scenario where someone would want to drink coffee from a machine that’s been setting in a bathroom through 100’s of guests. Gross. Then in the morning we planned to have the breakfast included with our stay. 45 minutes after the breakfast buffet was supposed to begin, someone arrived to begin setting up. We were told it would be another 1/2 hour. At that point we left. This was so disappointing. We had read such good reviews. But yuck.

Room and location were okay for the price however customer service was very poor.Nearby activities: Close to zoo, beach, and other attractions like broad walk, waterfronts parks.Walkability: Close to many places for dinner, close to uptown.

Their breakfast was great (including fresh fruit and a parfait machine!) rooms were updated, service was fantastic. Loved the idea for the limo. Next time we are in Eureka, we’ll be staying here again. Located right on the main highway north to Crescent City, prime for traveling to the Redwoods.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Humboldt Bay Inn on our drive down the coast in February. Hotel room was average with an older style. Quiet stay and comfy bed. The pool/hot tub area was gorgeous but had to walk through the chilly parking lot to get there.Noteworthy details: Beautiful pool/hot tub area.

Not the Best Western of your youth. This was an extremely clean, comfortable hotel. The service was superb and the pool and jacuzzi were just right.

I give this hotel 2 stars on average. The whole reason we came here was because of the oasis. My son loves to swim. We get here and after I had chatted (2x) on the phone with reception about how the pool area was kid friendly and the pool warm and accessible.. when we arrived I and my 7 year old were disappointed. The pool was outside, had some awful rain gutter flowing into it AND was freezing. The only thing that saved us was the bigger than normal hot tub and heated lounge area. When we first got here and it was just us and maybe one other guest this was totally fine! He enjoyed swimming in a pool-like area. After about 6p though there were some drunk church ladies who were belligerent and commented on the signs that said “no toys or goggles.” Ok… well we were minding our own business and I figured since the pool was lied about this rule was fine being overruled. Only fair , ANd the staff didn’t say anything and they were around us bringing towels and helping with outdoor heating. There were other kids and some nice adults but mostly the drunk adults and their lack of accommodating other guests was really rude. Rooms were clean and very comfy beds, vending machines only took quarters which was super frustrating , we really enjoyed our stay all together, but make sure you take this review in consideration before you get excited and think this place would be good for your family. That pool was really a bummer. Oh and the limo service? Only goes m-f? Not weekends which makes no sense. The reasoning is it’s the off season? Well we are here so obviously not.Rooms: Super comfy beds and clean as heavenFood & drinks: Hot chocolate machine was cool

This Best Western is without a doubt THE BEST Inn we have enjoyed throughout our travels in the USA. Incredible find, actually. The rooms are large and clean with new shutters, carpets, modern furniture and decorations. The attention to detail throughout make this Inn a true vacation destination oasis. Our very comfortable room with a king bed had 4 pillows, desk, table, hanging closet with iron and ironing board, refrigerator, glass door shower (no tub), microwave as well as a Keurig coffee maker, lots of power outlets, and a large LED TV. The common areas were simply amazing with two swimming pools, fire pit, many lounge chairs, pool table, exercise room, laundry room, conference table, tiki bar and a well stocked self-service breakfast room. Good parking inside the grounds, too. In the evenings (between 5 and 10pm) they offer free stretch limo service to a number of local restaurants and will pick you up, as well. This place really has it all! We cannot recommend it more for your consideration!

I chose the hotel based on glowing reviews, anticipating a perfect weekend getaway. The room, though clean, had a different bed setup than expected. When I approached the front office, they refused assistance, citing my third-party booking. The lack of empathy was disappointing. The next day, the receptionist seemed apologetic but disregarded my online reservation, providing a paper to contact the third party. It appears the hotel may not value the third-party service they’ve contracted. The front office’s limited computer skills hindered their ability to assist guests effectively, contributing to a less-than-ideal stay.Despite the challenges with the front office, it’s important to highlight the positive aspects of the hotel. The OASIS is impressive, and the complimentary breakfast exceeds expectations, providing good value for money.Rooms: Booked a 2 queen bed room. Double bed was given, blaming the 3rd party I booked in without even seeing my reservation on my phone.Noteworthy details: The front office is allergic with 3rd party booking. I don’t know if the owner is aware of this. It’s worth to message Best Western Main Office for this concern.

I stayed here not long ago and forgot to leave a review.Great location and the staff were very on point. They even had a nice new limo free for guests to get to and from dinners.
