Humboldt Botanical Garden is a beautiful and well-maintained place for nature lovers and garden enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy both formal gardens near the entrance, with rectangular beds, concrete steps, and a square plaza, as well as more informal gardens among forested areas. The garden offers multiple trails suitable for different levels of difficulty, including a woods loop trail to the labyrinth on a hill with a great view, and trails that extend for miles, offering many opportunities to see plants, trees, animals, and nature.
The garden also has a greenhouse and sculptures made from industrial and recycled materials, adding artistic touches to the landscape. There are benches throughout for resting, contemplating, or enjoying the scenery. Visitors often mention the friendly staff, especially a helpful guide who provides insights about the gardens and local area. The garden is family-friendly, though it is not fully handicapped accessible, and facilities include a small gift shop and portable toilets.

The staff was so nice and super helpful, having visited a few conservatories we found we were pretty spoiled. Gorgeous and a great example of CA flora.

Wonderful garden, then a vigorous hike to a panoramic view. Earth Sculpture was quite cool.

Beautiful property, such a fun time listening to live music. The kids danced, we brought food and drinks and had a blast. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend coming here and will definitely be back.
