The Morris Graves Museum of Art is located in a beautiful, well-kept 100-year-old Carnegie Library building. It features wonderful, high-quality exhibits of diverse artwork from local area artists, several of whom are nationally and internationally acclaimed. The museum has a regularly rotating gallery, with amazing and impressive presentations. Community-focused exhibits, such as those involving local elementary children, are also highlighted. Visitors can learn about unique displays like the Romano Gabriel sculpture garden. The gift shop is filled with unique, reasonably priced items sourced from local artists and artists from places like Nepal, with sales supporting those artists. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for seniors, students, and veterans, with many free admission opportunities. It is considered a great stop in Eureka, well worth a visit.
The building is gorgeous and unassuming at once, and the museum remains one of my favorite weekend activities!

I loved visiting here! There was lots of beautiful art and some helpful staff, plus low ticket prices (~5 dollars). Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!
