Jen was really wonderful at piercing. Super professional from start to finish. Best piercing of my life from how detail orient she was. The aesthetic of the space was so cute and supportive as well.

We began as a body piercing studio in 1995 we expanded to include tattooing in 1996. The shop has been through many stages but what remains, is being rooted right here in Humboldt County California in the same location since 1995. Founded by Jason Whitcomb at just 18 years old as an HSU student. Spearheaded to its current structure by Jennifer McMahon. Who at 27 yrs old became Humboldts first female piercer that is a member of the Association of professional Piercers. Since her career began she has passed on her knowlege to lift up the next generation of body piercers. Primal Decor set a standard in Humboldt County that elevates the customer experience while also going above county requirments for health and saftey. Come by and say hi.
