Good staff really friendly. Probably because I brought them some pizza from my pizza place. Needs 24 hour security some shady people come around certain hours and it’s annoying.

Guy at the desk told us not to use the bathroom because it was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Never bothered to clean it. 3 people were at the desk and none were busy. One of them could’ve cleaned it. Terrible customer service

Super unreasonable night staff! I was kicked out because my abusive ex made a scene last time we were there and he stole things, but I didn't steal anything nor did I condone his theft! And I was unable to control his actions, I don't think I should he held accountable for someone else's actions that I had nothing to do with.

First time there for snacks etc around 7:00pm 11/27/2021 employee is standing in the open door smoking, blows a huge cloud out as I'm walking in and asks "How's it going". I couldn't answer while holding my nose! Go to counter to pay and he was rude after I answered his first question, I then had to explained I didn't appreciate that cloud of smoke blown into me. Maybe train your employees to follow the laws

After dropping by for a package of Starburst candy (large) & handing the funds to the male clerk behind the counter, I put my wallet & change back in my sidebag (I get around using an electric wheelchair & am quite well organized, hence my sidebag); it was raining heavily outside & I sat near the front door, waiting for the downpour to lighten up a bit, the clerk failed to let me know that I'd left my purchase on the counter (which I discovered upon getting back to my motel). I immediately called this store to ask why & he apparently likes to 'lie' alot! He told me that I had taken it with me, if this was the case, then why would I (1) be posting this extremely negative review; (2) bothered to call to straighten this out or even (3) ever bother to give Shell on 5th & "O" Streets (in Eureka, CA) the time of day (much less anymore business! FAIR WARNING TO OTHERS! DO NOT GIVE THIS SHELL STATION/MARKET any of your business! Unless, you don't mind being robbed too!

Racial profiling by store clerk? I stopped to fill up at this station on Friday, May 29 at around 6:30 am. While I was pumping, I sent my kid inside the store to get me a coffee. My kid's friend from college--who visited Eureka with us and happens to be African-American--got out of the car and stood in front of the store (between my car and the door), as he waited for me to finish and my kid to come out. My kid said that the store clerk was mumbling something while my kid paid, and as soon as the transaction was over, the clerk hurriedly went around the counter and exited the store right behind my kid to... (what looked like to me, anyway) ...say something to my kid's friend. The clerk's facial expression as he was coming out of the store was not a friendly one. He seemed puzzled/maybe annoyed why a young, African-American male was standing just outside the store--until he saw that my kid (who is half-Caucasian and with bleached hair is "white-passing") greeted their friend; the clerk then went back inside, mumbling something. I wonder if a young, Caucasian male would have triggered the same reaction from the store clerk....
