This banks ATM ate my money and my debit card. Gave no receipt. They gave me my money back until they did an investigation. After the investigation they said I did not lose what I said I did. They took $86 out of the $300 I lost. So they stole from me. I closed my account. Took all my money out. 10 days later a ACH debit came through and they let it go through and then gave me an overdraft fee. Now they say they can't close it until it has a zero balance. It did have a zero balance. When I took all my money out. This bank is unbelievable. In the 22 years I had my account with them the only overdraft fee I ever had was this one. They won't let me close my account and they stole from me the $86 and then the $45 overdraft fee. This reminds me of when wells fargo got fined for stealing from their customers.

They will not allow me.to open an account because my mailing address is a PO box, due to living off grid in Petrolia. Despite having a reliable and healthy income, a strong credit score, and having held my last bank account for 26 years. It's funny that banks will deny people on a technicality such as this, and it feels quite discriminatory

The absolute worst financial institution I've ever dealt with - and I'm 60 years old, and have had numerous bank accounts over 40 years! They are currently holding my money hostage. I am seeking legal help with this. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLE. And the joke is that they call themselves The World's Greatest Bank, Lol!! They are the greatest like Trump is the greatest president ever - NOT!!!

Can't say enough good things about our experience getting two home loans through Umpqua. Our lender Barbie Turnbaugh helped us secure a refinance for our current home (so we could keep it and rent it out) as well as a loan for our dream home. Barbie stuck with us for FIVE MONTHS of misc hurdles. She never lost her patience or enthusiasm in helping us reach our goals. When she was out of town for a rare business trip her assistant Stacey was wonderful to work with as well. Five stars!

"Dana Do" is the branch manager. More like "Dana Don't". They totally screwed me out of hundreds of dollars on an error. My business banked here for years but they don't care about losing business. You'll do better at another bank.

I have been with Umpqua for a long time and I appreciate how well every branch treats me. Because of business I have used many of their branches throughout the westcoast. I've used this Eureka branch twice and today Scott and Jeff were great to work with. Jeff was wearing seasonal fashion and he looked great. Scott was wearing purple which is the color of royalty. The first time I used this branch was when I needed to sign and return something non bank related but was traveling with no printer. A young lady printed the document, I signed it and was able to get it in on time. The coffee is Umpqua great!

I cannot stand this location. I live in Arcata but I work in Eureka and usually cash my paycheck here. I tried depositing cash in the ATM after hours one day and couldn't. It only accepted checks. And it's such a sketchy area, I felt like I was about to be mugged the whole time I was at the ATM. My husband and I very much preferred the Henderson Center location and are extremely disappointed that it's gone.
