My daughter came in to this store to turn on a new iPhone after her older model went dead. She has done done this every 2-3 years for several years. She is on my corporate business plan. When she explained this to Daniel, he said that this is not possible to do w/o the my company business manager actually coming to the store. She patiently explained that she has been doing this for years and that the store simply calls the business manger, who's name & number are clearly shown in the Verizon account info as the people to contact, and added that the company is in San Mateo, Ca. ( 5 hours away). Daniel said 1) "We cannot call them, if they want to talk to us, they can call us.. but would not give a direct number to the store! 2) Daniel gave my daughter the Verizon business account phone number, which is inactive on Sunday ( when she was there). So this number was useless. Daniel did not care. Daniel showed no patience or willingness to help my daughter who has been a Verizon customer for the last 7 years. In our particular case my daughter works long hours in the local hospital emergency room and is also going to college so her free time is pretty hard to come by. Daniel's unwillingness to just give my daughter a direct phone number or to call my company business manager (who was actually waiting for this pre-arranged call) shows a remarkable lack of care for Verizon patrons and I suggest the customer go anywhere else for reasonable customer service. This place gets a big "thumbs down"!

Flew in from SF last night to McKinleyville, and somehow my phone got locked in airplane mode was unable to get it out. It was trying to open up an app while in airplane mode and froze. .. super frustrating... I got to the Verizon at 9 o'clock when they opened and Joe had the phone repaired by 902... great work Joe 2 thumbs way up and that's not my usual go to finger of choice when I'm putting fingers up but you sure deserve it.. thanks for everything you rule

My family and I recently had a couple of appointments at this location. Both times, we were easily able to make appointments through their online portal. The nice part about the employees I worked with at Verizon, was that they were not "pushy sales people". The first person to help us was Desiree. She helped solve our problem with a simple low cost option, was very knowledgeable, and super friendly during the transaction. The next day, we made another appointment and ended up working with Nick. Nick was also very knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and not at all pushy. He was very helpful, and helped us get out of there within a decent amount of time, which I also appreciated. There were many people who walked in, and it appeared that those people did have to wait quite a while to be helped. I would highly recommend booking an actual appointment, and I would recommend asking for Desiree or Nick if possible!

Joe the Store Manager was very helpful and accommodating when I arrived without an appointment to check on an online promotion. He went out of his way to assist me with my purchase and I was able to leave with my new phone which I "picked up" at the store. It was a good experience!

RUDE! i purchased a brand new iPhone 13 here recently. I had my 6s model switched over to my hospitalized father's account and had his phone loaded to the 6s. He needed a phone he could hold onto and his old flip phone and the hospital land lines fell from his hand. The next day when i tried the phone before delivering it, it would not call any of his contacts. I went back to Verizon on Broadway. I was met at the door by a lady who haughtily informed me i had no appointment and could not be helped. I looked at several employees just standing around. I quietly informed her they had not correctly set up the phone i was taking to the hospital. She crossed her arms and reiterated, no appointment, no service. I told her I was sorry i had dropped a grand at her business the day prior for a new phone and had them attempt to set my phone up for my hospitalized farher. She just stared at me. I went down the road to the mall and the next Verizon office. They fixed the phone immediately. Less than 5 minutes. Dad now had a smaller iPhone which fit his hand. And it works! Guess where I will never shop for a phone again!
