Looked promising when I went in but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I'd recommend it though because there was a lot of stuff there.

One of my favorite antique stores in a town famous for them. Dan is very knowledgeable and helpful. Wide and varied selection of books, furniture, glassware, and fun and rare knickknacks. Prices are quite reasonable. The Grove should be on the shortlist of any antiques lover in the area.

Dan and his girlfriend also do estate sales and recently lied to me about a item I specifically went for to buy.I was First in line and first to item…. It was already sold!!! They told me the family wanted to keep it. Well investigating further I called the family and they did NOT want it. I told her she should have removed it from sale photos and she told me “ I can run my business how ever I want”. They also pull stuff from their store to put in the estate sale they are hired to sell for a client!!! Very dishonest and VERY rude!!! They told me I was no longer allowed at their sales…. Boo hoo! Maybe if he was brave enough to put his name behind his advertising estate sales nobody would go! Way over priced and dishonest

My favorite antique shop in Tulare County. There is always something interesting and unexpected, and owner Dan Weiss is very helpful and knowledgeable.

We recently used Susan and James to help us with our family's estate. Not only did they provide the estate sale services we needed, they also went through the house and did a complete appraisal of the household items that was needed by the attorney.. Being out of town, all of these tasks would not have been easy to coordinate had it not been for them. The sale was done when and how they said it would be. When it was all done they arranged for a local charity to pick up the remaining items. I am very thankful for all of their help I highly recommend them, in fact I have already gave our realtor their name!!

The Grove in Exeter is one of only a couple of true antique shops in town, and although it is a store with individual vendors, the merchandise is always clean and well exhibited. I shop there quite often and I cannot believe the poor review listed under The Grove is about this shop. Dan is the owner of The Grove and has always been friendly, courteous, and helpful with the inventory in the store. Dan is usually always at the shop unless it's a day off. Also, Dan is not an older gentleman nor is there one at The Grove. Down the street, yes, at The Grove, no... Dan also is not hesitant to refer people to other shops in town should he not have in stock that which you are looking for. Generally speaking you will NOT find painted furniture at The Grove. Dan is careful to stock very nice antique furniture and smalls and although it is possible to not find what you are looking for at The Grove, usually there is something that catches your eye. I do not buy junk and highly recommend The Grove. I shop there quite often and will continue to do so. Take a look. You won't be disappointed.

Not much of a variety of good vintage pieces. A lot of junk primarily. I had a question about a piece of furniture but the person there was not knowledgeable about the item so I left without buying it.
