It's a fine place if you just want a scoop of ice cream. The kids they hire are always friendly. It's the owners and cake ordering that are very disappointing. Last year I ordered a cake and was given the option to pay upfront or on pick up. I paid first. When I went to pick it up they said I didn't pay for it and didn't have a receipt or proof. Luckily I had my receipt. This year I ordered another cake and was again given the option to pay now or later. Remembering last year I opted to pay at pick-up. When I went to pick the cake up they didn't have it. The owner was called and stated that the cake was not made because it was not paid for and it has never been their policy to pay at pick up. They offered to give me one cake at half off. I ordered a 12-16 serving cake and all they had were 8-12 cakes. So then I would have to buy one at full price and one at half price to accommodate my needs. Meanwhile my daughter is about to start crying because she has kids coming over in 30 minutes and now she doesn't have a cake. So l just went next door and picked something out at Raley's and they wrote a birthday message on it for me so grateful. Years ago when there were 31 cent scoops on the 31st of the month. They were called family day. One day the manager said to me after I ordered mind you. That they were no longer doing family day. They could have at least put up a sign on the door or notified people when they were about to order. I emailed the owner and relayed my experience. She said she was sorry but it was a new corporate policy. She did not address the real problem which was the lack of communication. I did however inquire with the corporate and told them that I was sad to see family day go as it had become a tradition for my family and many others I'm sure. Corporate wrote me back and said they were unaware of any canceling of family day and since this is a franchise location they can set their own policies for specials. I have the emails saved to back this up if there's any doubt. So I will just take the extra drive and head to Granite Bay. That store is amazing. The people are very friendly. As for this location I think I have supported them enough and best of luck.

I have been coming to this location for about 3 years. When you pay 10 dollars for a large shake it should be what you asked for. I always tell them that I want the shake to be thick which means more ice cream and less milk. So when I get home it is like a glass of milk I only live like a mile away. Went back to the store to get my money back, or have them make me another one. They blamed it on the ice cream . Bottom line told me to pound sand. This is what you get when you hire people who do not know what there doing. I will never go back do not waste your money at this place. Way over priced for what they are selling. Go some where else you will get more for your money.

We had a birthday coupon so we stopped by here while in town. The kids loved their cone as did we. They had their usual selection. Service was quick (no line) and portion size was good. I have nothing to complain about other than the usual high prices of ice cream in general and how there is tough competition considering numerous speciality ice cream shops around.

I'm giving this location two stars because they actually serve ice cream and it tastes pretty good. The problem I have is anytime t want to place an order for a pie or cake they need 48 hours notice. This seems a bit excessive for an ice cream shop specializing in ice cream. it would be nice if I could walk in and pick the item from their menu right out of the case. But they never seem to have anything I need. Anyway, I have to go find a new ice cream shop.

My kid’s #1 requested local ice cream spot when they know they’re getting treated to something special. They especially love the sherbet flavors. Always friendly staff.

The employee that took my order would not keep her mask over her nose, even after repeatedly asking her to cover her nose and mouth due to my compromised immune system

I use to go in once a week and get a cappuccino blast. I'm trying to support local business but I have been turned away twice because I won't pretend a piece of paper will stop a virus. It's been two years and I won't participate in irrational fear any longer. Good luck with your business if you are too scared to serve customers.

Amazing service, River and the other closer, I didn't get her name, were amazing. Came in after a sucky day at work and they made it better. Not only was the ice cream good but their customer service was spectacular.

Last night the young blonde lady was spending to much time worrying about if you had a mask of not to help clients. Guess I will hve ti get ice cream else where if this is the way they treat their customers.
