We always enjoy visiting this establishment when we are in town visiting family. The staff is always amazing and accommodating, the food is delicious and plentiful, and the atmosphere can not be beat!

A nice place to spend an evening, but little aspiration to excellence.Extra star awarded for allowing me to finally have found a restaurant with no television. It's hard to enjoy a family meal when your kids are watching TV, ruining the ambiance.I had the "special" which wasn't on the menu. The chicken Scaloppine. It started out quite nicely tender with food tasting noodles and texture. The mushrooms, which I normally don't like, were exquisitely cooked. The chicken did not taste seasoned at all and over time, went from tender to drenched in the sauce, which was about a half-inch deep in the plate. The chicken finished as a soggy, buttery mess. The staff were friendly and cordial. Our drinks were refilled continuously, almost to the point that I couldn't understand how they got anything else done. The menu is not overcomplicated but certainly doesn't cater to families with children. A kids option is limited to pizza unless they want to eat fancy. It seems this place is mostly meant for couples and friends and draws a senior crowd. It was pleasant. The lighting in the dining room was dim and I could barely see my food. But I wasn't too worried.Pricing was really reasonable for what you get. My wife had Mahi-Mahi which was also a special, but was $10 more than my plate. There seemed to be no wine list presented, though they had plenty of options which the manager was indulging in from time to time, which some would see as fairly forbidden on the clock. But the casual atmosphere and excellent conduct of all staff didn't make me worried. It was also concerning that a dog was allowed in the dining area. It was a non-service dog and even though the couple with the dog was limited to a table in the tar corner until an outside table was available, I heard commente from other customers about it. Some diners don't prefer hairy friends in the dining room. All in all it was a decent experience with casual food, an uncomplicated selection and a questionable ambiance indoors. I would have much rather been outside. But, we didn't need a reservation and the place was packed outside which should tell you my opinion is likely exclusive and my party wasn't their usual type of patron.Suggestions: Ditch the paper napkins and bare tables in the evening service and to for something radiant to cover tables. Ditch the candles and go for small lamps so people can see their food, since the lighting up top flickers. Stop drowning your chicken. 1/4 of that amount of sauce would do, with a little more seasoning on the chicken. Don't be afraid to blacken the chicken. Perhaps add some color for contrast. My plate was white, yellow and brown. Some steamed carrots, shallots or green onions should do the job.No one can tell you are open. You can't see the Christmas lights from Burger King where you turn into the place. You need an Open sign like your neighborKid-friendliness: Not snti-kid, but certainly not aligned to provide kids options

A little Fallbrook gem! Food is always delicious and the service outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and just fun! Wish it wasn't in a strip mall, but what they've created with the space is very beautiful. One of our top Fallbrook/Bonsall restaurants, our #1 Italian/Mediteranean and our #2 pizza in town with The Mill being our fav. Long time customers.

Great small town Italian resturant. The owner was efficient, kind and made us feel like we were regulars, eventhough it was our first visit... We saw him even lend his eye glasses to a customer who couldn't read the menu... while the food wasn't 'flashy' it definitely had that cooked by Nonna feel.

If you’re tried of the waits, and crowds and lack luster service at the “foodie” places in town, you should try this lovely little spot! It really is a gem. Super tasty cuisine, old school service.

Such a great little local place to eat and drink. Food was incredible, the French onion soup was better than we’ve ever had, and the outdoor seating area was great.

Great little place to stop for lunch. I ordered the roast turkey panini sandwich which was delicious. What I like about this place is the lunch portions are not heavy so you're not tired going back to work. Would recommend and staff are nice.

Being relative newcomers to Fallbrook, among the most important things for our family to locate: great New York style PIZZA. Found it here! No more looking. The restaurant also has a great patio: private, away from street noise.

Pros:1. Waitress was friendly and attentive.2. The patio is calm and inviting including a pond with koi fish.Cons:1. Unavailability of food. We tried to order a calzone and Stromboli but they said they didn't have the equipment to make them or the chef that makes them was out (couldnt understand the reasoning) . Then we tried to order a salad to which they didn't have the ingredients for (wedge salad). Then we tried to order their spinach and mushroom pizza and they didn't have the ingredients to make that.2. Mushy soggy pizza. Once we finally got to order something they had ingredients to make we settled on two pizzas a vegetarian and the meat lovers. The crust on both were terrible, nearly burnt on the bottom soggy and undercooked on top and the crust was like a tire. The vegetarian was mushy weighed down by the uncooked nearly raw vegetables.3. Not worth the price. With two salads and 2 pizzas our bill was over $80 which I would be happy to pay for quality but this was nowhere near.4. Lack of empathy. Our waitress had to come back interrupting our conversation at the table 3 different times to tell us they couldn't fulfill our order and then we had to re order again. With all the issues you would expect a bit more empathy. Comp a desert or even just a simple closing of an apology. Something that would lead us to believe these issues weren't typical practice in this restaurant . (And no we were friendly, patient and understanding with the waitress when she addressed the issues)We were told that their food shipment was arriving the next day which was the issue.. The lack of ingredients to supply customers with their orders especially on something as simple as a salad seems odd considering they're right next door to a supermarket. This left me questioning the freshness of the food. If the delivery is arriving tomorrow how fresh was the food i ate today. I left thankful I didn't order one of the many seafood items on the menu.Signed an unimpressed customer.

Rude. Just rude people running the place. Our waitress was nice but the two guys behind the counter were obnoxious and I'll never set foot in there again. Very disappointed in their lack of customer service skills.

This place was recommended by a neighbor... Just took 50 minutes to get our food the place had only 10 guests beside us but the food is just.... It would take too long to explain but basically if you buy the lasagna at Costco or any decent market would be so much better! The chowder tasted like they just added some milk to warm It up, the linguine chicken alfredo was drowned in uncooked soupy sauce... if they would let their cooks get any recipe online would be better then what they cooked for us... sorry, don't mean to be giving a bad review but they need to put more effort on making better quality food... service and atmosphere was nice...
