This is also the current location of Hawthorne Country store. This is my go-to place for chicken feed and other supplies for chickens but they also have an amazing selection of food and supplies for dogs, horses and other pet and farm animals. They usually have baby chickens and occasionally have other baby animals like pigs and guinea pigs. A great selection of canning supplies and gifts as well.

Bought nyjer seed to feed wild finches. The product was defective in some way and the birds would not touch it. The store refused to refund or exchange it. I would like to buy locally, but don't want to deal with a shop that does not stand behind its products.

For my wild bird feeders, Fallbrook Feed sold me poor quality sunflower seed and totally inedible nyjer seed. I spend $100+ and when I brought it back they shrugged their shoulders. I would never buy from them again. Even though I went them to support a local business. There are great products available elsewhere, at better prices, and with a return guarantee.
