Laundry near Fallbrook, CA

“Updating my review from 1 star to 5. This is not a bad place to do laundry. I do wish that they were open a little bit later, or at least: if you come in by 9, with a full hour to do laundry and only need to do one load, and there are free machines, allow the customer to start it. Honestly, the attendant wasn’t even that rude to me, maybe just a bit irritable *she was actually probably just concerned bc she knew the machines would be shutting down soon, and apparently as they said, the attendants don’t even control that.. so she was probably anticipating me being upset and came across as being less friendly to me… I’m sure there would have been no problems if I came in well before 8:55pm; just didn’t make it as soon as I planned. Every one of the Grande Laundry places I’ve been to in Fallbrook & Escondido, has a bathroom for customers to use, is pretty reasonably priced on their machines; dryers work fast and they sell detergent and other items. Cards are more convenient than coins, but I do wish you could use your credit card to add specific amounts to the card instead of needing to get cash to add to the card or at least that it was easy to get a refund if you have more than $3 left on your card when you are finished…but no place can be perfect and all in all, a great place to do laundry & the workers are always working so diligently to keep the machines, floors and everything clean. This is a great option if you don’t have access to your own washer & dryer or if yours goes out of commission”

“My experience at Pearl Laundromat on the corner of Iowa & E. Mission was great, thanks to the cheerful hands-on help of super friendly and in-charge, Socorro. I went last week to use their big commercial machines to wash & dry my mother-in-law's sleeping bags and down feather comfortors. Since I knew next to nothing about using a public laundromat, Socorro took me under her wing and walked me through the process from start to finish. The best thing I learned for the next time I have to deal with bulky bedding is that I won't have to carry dozens of quarters; the washers take credit cards... welcome to the 21st century! I do recommend this laundromat, especially because of the kindness of Socorro. And, I know that her co-workers, Cynthia and Marichui, are just as helpful to the customers during their work shifts. ( I rated this place with one less star because some machines could be updated, but I'm happy with how fresh & clean my bedding turned out anyway.)”

“On July 1st we came to do our laundry (our 2nd time to come here) and we don’t know what we were doing. Rosie came to our rescue. She was very helpful, kind, friendly and humble and walked us through the whole process of starting our wash and dry. It was a pleasure to meet her and certainly was reassuring to have someone like her as a staff of this Laundry company. Very clean place and equipments are clean”

“I recently brought a dress and a coat into Ritz for dry cleaning this weekend. When I picked it up and got home, I realized I forgot to ask if they could replace a missing button that kept popping off (maybe the round shape of it?). While looking at my dress, I realized they had replaced it with a button that was the same wine red color as my dress, which I very much appreciated! It was also a flat normal button which I’m hoping doesn’t come off as much as the smooth, round fabric button from the designer.

I also had brought them a pair of fleece pants to have altered. I should have just given it to Ritz, when I dropped off my dry cleaning. It wasn’t a rush. They said if I’m in a rush, they sent it to nearby Alteration Studios, which could have a next day turnaround. It was only $3 more to have Ritz bring it to them, but the pants wouldn’t have ready for 4 days (directly). It would have saved me an extra trip if I had paid $3 extra and left it with Ritz Cleaners.

They also did a great job getting off all the white colored dog hair off my blue wool coat that my dog spilled peanut butter sauce on.

“It's small, but very clean. Washers and dryers work well, and there is always someone there to assist if needed. Ron, the owner, is just a phone call away if you have any issues or questions. The facility also has a self-service car wash (which works great as well)¿, and small storage spaces for rent around the perimeter of the property- someone got creative putting these necessities all in one
place! My only little hang up is, you only get 3 minutes on a dryer for each quarter spent.
Other than that, the place is great. i highly recommend it!”

“I went on a Tuesday during lunch and everything was open. The coin dispense only breaks 10 or 20's. Normal washing cycle. Great place. Very clean. Outstanding location.”
