I dropped my truck off, and requested for tim to review two issues. A Laggard start & leaking coolant. The next day he calls and says, all done $479 for a new battery. Your truck's ready for pick up. On my phone second reminder, i asked about my coolant issue? He Says He'll take a look?
Next day. No phone call. I arrive 2:30. He greets me with a bill.
And says oh by the way. You need a reservoir container? Followed by. It's just a 75.00 part?
I guess those are easier to put in than a battery? And he expects me to do that?
He had the truck all day today? Why didn't he just go ahead and resolve that issue like he did my battery & surprisingly without providing me with a quote Prior to performing repairs?
He also failed to notice my battery was also clearly under warranty? Mind you, I did drive there.
I cool calm and cordially eloquently articulated my disappointment In not having my reservoir issue resolved.
I need to be in san diego this weekend.
I guess I need to scramble to have that issue resolved now!?
He quickly grew red and accused me that it was my fault. He says no problem at all
and proceeded to pull his battery out of my truck because I questioned why one issue Was resolved over the other and why not both?
I was his only primary focus for 2 days?
Without my will He was kind enough to put my old battery back in without a jump and so I could drive away and get my battery replaced under warranty.
I was glad he allowed me to pay him 225 for his diagnostic services.
Thanks for being honest, transparent pillar in the automotive community.You're greatly appreciated sir.

My son's car had a sensor issue. I called and was able to bring it in to Tim the next morning. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. We are new to the area and were referred to him. Great service, promptly completed. We'll be back!

Tim is very knowledgeable and friendly. I am new to the area and I had a parking brake dash light that all of a sudden stayed on. He found that a rodent had chewed through some wiring under the hood. He repaired the wire and put a shield around it. He also made a suggestion as how to keep rodents away in the future (tie dryer sheets around wiring). Thank you Tim. I'll be back for future automotive needs.

My car had a leak and needed a new radiator. Tim was able to diagnose, get the parts and do the work in the same day. He did great work for a fair price too. Car is purring again. Thanks Tim!

New to Fallbrook so I was looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and fair mechanic. My first try did no go well as I was quoted over $600 for rear brake work. Needless to say I picked my car up and tried again. Went with Tim's on a friend's recommendation. I will be that friend for the rest of You In Fallbrook... if You are in need of a mechanic call Tim. Met every expectation. Instead of doing unnecessary replacements, he unseized a rear caliper with some lube, turned the rotors, and replaced the rear brake pads... for $260. I did not tell him prior what the other shop quoted and had stated needed replacing, I wanted his honest opinion. He did not try to replace the caliper, rotors, and brakes like the other shop said needed done. He was honest and kind. Thanked me for the business and was very professional and kept me in the loop on repairs. He has worked the Fallbrook area for 30+ years as a mechanic and was born and raised in Fallbrook as I found out in my conversation with him. I feel even more confident now knowing he has spent his whole life working hard for this community! I started asking around after getting my car fixed to find that many trust Tim with their cars as well. While other's may have more reviews in the area, I believe Tim takes pride in this community and what he brings to it!

Is it time for an oil change? Is that check engine light on? Whatever is up with your car head down to Tim's Auto Repair. I've had my car taken in for Air Conditioner maintenance and Tim did an amazing job. My wife and her family have been coming to Tim for many many years and he really is the best in the area. His prices are great and the service is amazing. He's also friendly and very knowledgeable so don't be afraid to ask any question. If you've got any issues with your car this is the place to go it's worth the drive.
