The family that owns and operates Village Market and Liquor are always friendly and have owned it for years. It's nice to go in and see that the next generation is working there now too. I remember when they were just kids.Always a smile and good conversation when buying something there. ?

Nice little market. I needed something late one night and everything in Fallbrook was closed or did not have what I needed. I pulled in here and the person manning the store was extremely helpful and helped me find what I needed. He was also just a very nice person. If you need something in south Fallbrook after everything has closed or even if the rest are open try this place.

Stays open late, keeps a well stocked store, prices are a little high. No benefits for locals or regulars. Staff friendly and professional. Only draw back is lottery tickets must be fully scratched( bar codes), or they will be refused!

I have been shopping here for over 20 years. This great family-run business has just about anything that I am looking for. When I run out of something, they always have it!! All of the owners are friendly and helpful. Once, when I noticed that they didn't have the type of bread I liked, the young woman said, "I will order more." Then, once, there was only one carton of eggs left, but most of them were broken. Someone must have dropped the carton and returned it to the shelf. So I took it to the counter and the owner said that they didn't have any eggs left. She sensed that I was disappointed, so she said, "I can't sell you these eggs." Then, without a word, she put the 3 good eggs in a bag and handed the bag to me. What a sweetheart. My 99-year-old mom had her omelet that night and was a happy camper! Thank you so much for blessing our community with your kindness and integrity.

I visited this market because it was within walking distance to the Roadway Inn Fallbrook. It is a cute little market next to a taco shop. It was helpful to me because they accept EBT. Mainly I think they sell liquor. Very nice people, I think family owned. Only complaint was the lady didn't want to give me a bag.

Village Market & Liquor is a true gem. It's on the main road of Mission. Big parking lot in case you need to pull the Winnebago in or trailer with dirt bikes. Grab your ice and keep the beers cold on the way out to the desert. If you'd like to park on the street, they have a street access door as well. Sign is large and lit at night. There is a small taco window on the side ( that's a separate review) of the Liquor Store. Mr. Sascha and his family/staff are always professional, kind and truly put their heart and passion into this store. It's clean, well stocked and they do what they can to offer so much to so many. I personally love all of the live plants throughout the store. Beer is cold, wine is abundant and it's a snackers paradise. The store is clean and if you need a cold bottle of champagne on the way to a birthday party or a cigar for your uncles birthday that you forgot about, this is the place to be! Tons of scratchers sold here. Someone hit it big here so it's a Lucky Store! You can grab your daily newspaper, some tea or juice and head out to the air park close by. Continue to support local and give this place a try next time you are in town.

The tacos and Mex food is amazing. The village shop however is ridiculous. Way overpriced and they "are polite" but it doesn't help that they keep everything basically at room temperature and are highest prices in town.
