Felton Branch Library is a small but wonderful library located in a beautiful building with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It offers a variety of features and activities, including indoor spaces with glass birds overhead, wicker Ohlone houses for children to climb into, and a seed exchange. The library has a unique built-in human sundial and climbing gyms, making it a fun and interesting place for visitors. The staff is friendly, helpful, and willing to explain all the services available, from checking out books and DVDs to attending lectures and requesting titles from other branches. Visitors enjoy browsing the collection, which includes books, audiobooks, and sale items from Friends of the SC Library. The library is also environmentally friendly, featuring its own solar power installation. Overall, it is a wonderful resource for the community, offering a cozy space for reading, exploring, and spending time with family.
It’s a nice library. I wish the librarians would be more assertive about asking adults and children alike to be quiet. I miss when I could expect a library to be a quiet place.
