Roaring Camp offers a fun and memorable experience centered on its scenic train rides. The highlight is the narrated train ride through the beautiful redwoods, which is fantastic, stunning, and amazing. The conductor provides an excellent, informative, funny, and interesting talk about the redwoods and the area's history. There is also a longer steam train ride down to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, which is an unforgettable and scenic adventure. The site has a great ambiance and is a beautiful spot with ample parking. Available amenities include food, shopping, restrooms, water, and beer. Activities include a great nature walk, gold panning, a blacksmith demo, and fun activities for kids. The location also hosts special events like music festivals and Pug-o-Ween, which are hilarious and fun. The staff and customer service are incredibly friendly, helpful, and great. It is a cool experience for everyone, highly recommended for a visit.
I love Roaring Camp! Unfortunately, the train was canceled due to a high-wind advisory, so we didn't get to ride. I had prepaid and they promised an automatic refund, which appears to have been completed, so it's all good.

Great for kids. Interactive learning and an ok train ride. Animals were cool. The food at the only restaurant was overpriced and very poor quality.

I’ve been in many scenic train rides in the us. This has to be my favorite. What wonderful scenery!
