I love this place, BUT we had a specific appointment. We drove clear up from Garberville (100 miles round trip) just for this appointment, only to be told we did not have any appointment. Sorry.

We took our Beloved, 13 year old, 120 lb, Amercian Bulldog, Our Beloved family Member, to get Euthanized today.. We Knew it was time. She has Arthritis,Cancer, she having Accidents and can barely walk. I had called in the Morning prior and made the Appt at 3. I was Told it could be done in the car so there would be no stress on Anyone involved. Upon arrival, we were told, since they haven't seen her in a year, they would Have to Take her inside, Examine her! Are You Kidding Me! They have All her Records. So Let's make it Harder for Her, US And Her??? Gee, Maybe To Make More Money???! Why Do you Want to Make A Aready Stressful Situation More STRESSFUL???? Thay should be Ashamed!!! WHERES THE COMPASSION?? It was All About $$$$$. Needless to Say, We Transfered All Our Records to a Vet 30 min away Just to NEVER HAVE TO GO THERE AGAIN! if you are in the Situation we are in, or will be soon, Please Find A Humane Vet, One who has Compassion. One That Actually Cares about Your Family Members and Not the Money! I Just wanted to Share our Experience so You Dont Have the Same. P.s. The Office Manager Needs to Work on Her Customer Service and Compassion! She Totally Lacks Empathy!!! *Side Note* (The girl I Spoke too this Morning Was Very Nice & Compassionate. She Explained about the Creamation differences, ect. She is the Reason Why I chose to Go There. I Wish The Rest of your Co-Workers Could have Been that Way, Thank You)

Nice people but they have you wait for around an hour- why not just schedule us in closer to the time you'll actually see us? As it is you just sit there as your pet gets more and more anxious and you try not to fall asleep of boredom.

Dr. Schroeder, Dr. Flores, and Dr. James helped all my animals at times when things were touch and go. The receptionists are helpful, kind, and diligent. The rooms and reception area are clean. They have a bench away from others for kitties, too. There are also candles with wording about tender last moments with pets for others to observe in the quiet. I appreciate that there is a vet that can get my furry kids in fairly reasonably for last-minute appointments and that they don't charge too much over the top. For things like spay and neuter, however, that's a different story as far as price goes. I'd like to see more vets offer a more affordable price, at least once or twice a year, to give a spay clinic price.

The worst experience we've ever had, staff was very insensitive and unhelpful. All they cared about was whether the invoice was paid for.... 200.00 before even being seen, made us wait outside for an hour when we were the only customers there. It cost almost 500.00 to drain an abscess, so disappointed. We will not go back or recommend this place to anyone
