Stayed here a few times, over the years. Always a nice stop. Great with pets too, as they have an area that pets can "do their business." B'fast the following morning is welcome, too.

This happened a couple months ago to my boyfriend and I We had rented a room on a Monday with our ten month old son. Later that night me & our son had laid down for bed I moved the extra pillows out of the way and felt something wet I thought his bottle had dripped on the pillow but when I turned around to check the pillows they were filthy so me & my boyfriend checked the rest of the pillows and bed and they were filthy also with im not sure what. My boyfriend went to the front desk to let them know & they were nice enough to move us to a new room. Well the next morning we get a knock on our room door by the housekeeper MARTHA who supposedly cleaned the first room we were in & she starts yelling/arguing with my boyfriend about the room saying out ten month old son popped all over pillows and sheets and that no one at the motel would believe us cause "she's the best at cleaning" her rooms and we only did that cause we couldn't afford another room & I was sitting on the bed with our son in disbelief how unprofessional this housekeeper MARTHA was and the fact she came to our room to attack us for something she didn't clean properly & pretty much saying we did this cause we couldn't afford another room like we work and have no reason to make up a story to get another room. So after she was done yell/arguing with my boyfriend I went to the front desk and told Jacob who was working what had happened he apologized and said he would tell the manager what happened because he was not there at that time, the next day we went back to talk to the manager and he apologized but I wasn't happy he pretty much made excuses for Martha and it seem her actions wouldn't be disciplined. I want her fired because if she did this to us who else will she do this too.

Our first time staying here due to us going to a concert in Fillmore. It's a very clean motel the rooms are really big and all our towels and sheets are super clean. Fridge in room is not a mini it's a small fridge. The cleaning crew make sure the grounds are spotless and as a visitor we should make sure to keep the rooms clean also. My only complaint is that the room above us had someone running super late at night and super early in the morning. You could here the feet running back and forth and when your trying to sleep well it doesn't help. Try not to park near orange trees my car was full of small bugs it was kinda freaking me out (don't like bugs). They offer breakfast which we didn't try but hopefully when we return we will give it a try. Thank you for being so friendly we appreciate it

We stayed in the Handicap Accessible room. I'll get to that in a moment. Importantly, the room was clean. So, at least that was not an issue. That's why I gave them two stars. Otherwise, it would not have been even two stars. You enter the room and you're immediately struck by the height of the beds. The only way we were able to stay in the room is that my chair raises. I'd say the bed was at least 6" too high. A regular wheelchair user would have struggled to get in bed. The toilet was too low. Thankfully, I have some leg strength and could get off the toilet. But it was really low. Then, I noted that the grab bar in the shower was not close enough to the fixed seat. They really were of no use. That presents a huge fall risk. No way would I shower in that shower. The coffee maker and all cups were in the bathroom on the counter. It was beyond gross to think of the coffee maker being in the bathroom. The ice bucket was there too. The only place for the soap was on the same tray as the ice bucket. So that was not good. Finally, the room was so too small for a reasonably sized table. So we had to use the second bed as a tale when we ate our meals. So I regret that could give a higher rating, but I place a high priority on the bed, shower, and toilet.

While traveling north, we were rerouted to 101 due to inclement weather on 5, weather on 101 was still pretty bad so we decided to call it a day and stay here. We called a few places to get some prices and everyone except the Marriott and this place were pretty much price gauging because of the situation. We had already passed the Marriott so we decided to keep driving ahead and stay at the Best Western. This is a cute quaint hotel, rooms were clean and location was right off the main road but still quiet. I loved all the orange trees they had on site. My hubby went to check in and the lady at the front desk was so sweet and friendly, it was refreshing considering the kind of day we were having with the weather! She even asked if we were military because they offer a military discount! (We usually have to remind ourselves to ask this and I'm sure we would've forgotten that day due to the circumstances!) The breakfast was decent, and checkout was smooth. We would definitely stay here again!

No Blankets, so had to go to office to retrieve 2 VERY thin blankets. Breakfast was available they said until 9:30. We got there to eat at 8:50 where we discovered there were no eggs, left, no sausages or toast available and only one piece of fruit. We were woken up at 2:10 am to very loud banging nd angry shouting/yelling about 2-3 doors down; very frightening!

3 night stay (Thurs, Fri & Sat nights). Nice enough people and place. Lots of fresh linens, 3 pillows on each of the two beds. Traffic noise wasn't too bad considering there's a main street right in front. Beds were very comfortable! One complaint is that the floors weren't clean. The carpet is old, and we found pieces of who knows what on the carpeting. Looks like it wasn't vacuumed. No going barefoot!! The fridge was next to one of the beds instead of on the other wall next to the table/chest of drawers, but it worked out. And on the wall between the beds, behind the bedside table, there was something that had spilled down the wall, which wasn't cleaned up. We didn't want to guess what that might have been. But our main complaint was the pricing. On the weeknight it was $153 per night, and on the Fri/Sat night, it was $175 per night. And it wasn't even summer or a holiday! We feel that was way too much for what we got, but we were visiting relatives we hadn't seen in a long time, so we bit the bullet as there's no other place locally to stay.
