Fillmore Fish Hatchery is a hidden gem and a fun, cheap, family-friendly outing. It is a cool place for a quick visit, especially with kids, offering an excellent half-hour activity. Visitors can take free handfuls of food to feed the very pretty trout and see how the fish are farmed and placed in lakes. The grounds are well cared for, featuring a lovely little stream, ducks, dragonflies, cat tails, and bunnies. It is a really relaxing place. While perhaps not worth a special trip alone, it is a neat and amazing stop to see the fish and their ecosystem.
Free and family friendly. There is food for the fish. There were also ducks and goats. Restrooms and picnic tables ate also available

They only have a small section available to walk and feed fish. Fish food was accessible and you did not have to bring coins or pay to feed the fish. Kids had a very good time feeding the fish!
